He is saying that Su 30 MKI is a Joint Venture between India and Russia and the same way JF 17 is a Joint Venture between Pakistan and China. So in other words he is saying Pakistan haven't developed any aircraft completely on their own without external support like India have done which is the LCA Tejas. And not that JF 17 & SU 30MKI look similar.

We've got the engine but the problem is that it just is not up to the mark or say just lacking with some minor gap. And what about Pakistan BTW have you guys even designed and manufactured structure of a plane indigenously?

We have our own surface-to-air missile ability to destroy the aircraft carrying the cruise missile itself.

Yes we jointly developed, why we consume the time in the name of R&D like HAL for last three decades and result American imported engines. Now we have the technology step by step we are entered in second phase of Block-II and one for all we have an operational Air craft Multi role not prototype.

Beta go and ask your master China why it took them 4 DECADES to develop their own engine then come and ask us. Even now China imports and uses Russian engines in their aircrafts, you know why? Because beta engine

How can you compare a plane with an engine?

A= you learn from the Kaveri failure the American GE F414 engine what a success.

F414 is not USA's first attempt at making jet engine. Even US, UK and Germany made poor perfomance
engines at first, and then slowly worked their way to perfection.

A = and now trying to making a copy of this Russian aircraft carrier.

Can you prove it? We launched our carrier much before we took delivery of Vikramaditya.
