. . .
Waste, waste of public money. Just another racket to make whole raft of sincecure posts - which will be doled out as favours. PIA meets sea.

.
Slow and steady all naval operations and naval manufacturing including submarines will be relocated to Gawader
You also have to relocated educated and skill workers to Gwadar. Gwadar should also be multiple ethnic city just like Karachi but set the high standard for Gwadar.

“The construction of the shipyard will begin immediately,” a statement quoted Admiral Abbasi as saying during a seminar at the force’s engineering college in Karachi.

The speakers emphasised coordination between navy and the local shipping industry in order to achieve self-reliance.

The naval chief, the statement said, stressed increasing the number of seaports in cognisance of maritime challenges and future needs.

Pakistan Navy, he added, safeguards the ‘blue economy’ and there was a need to increase awareness in the country relating to the importance of the maritime affairs.

Admiral Abbasi underscored coordination as the key in this age of globalisation and advancing technology.
Sir don't you think that there is some thing wrong with naval chief's cap? Photoshoped?

Fairly long time frame for just a ship yard facility which is nothing but metallic frame buildings which large ceiling and scaffolding like structures

Should speed this up to 6 month duration

We are not constructing the Pyramids :coffee:

Most of the material is just cranes and machinery setup hardly any thing drastic like lets say making a tunnel thru the mountain etc or building a water dam which requires 6 years
