. .
hope that freedom will be given to people of pakistan INSHAHALLAH

.
so this is the reason why here in Karachi, continuous Mirages and F-7s have been flying for almost a week now. PAF is on high alert as Yanks have an intention to repeat another May 02. This time around we are prepared.

.
I don't mean to degrade PAF but Air Chief Marshall Rao Qamar Suleman is also corrupt.

How useful Mirages and F-7s (old planes jets) against US's intrusions (i.e- stealth helicopter/Chinook, F-18s, B-2s)?

There is nothing to prepare, our government will never give order to strike against drones in basic step.

.
so will you ground what you have to fly because they cannot face so called stealth? what stealth are you talking about? Chinook that raided so called OBL?? Or Raptor that is grounded for quite a while? Open your eyes and see the reality that Yank is not invincible as many think. Handful of Afghans made their pride bite the dust. Bottom line is stop underestimating our forces. I am not advocating the Air Chief, just saying do not live in disarray.

.
I think if Pakistan wanted they can destroy all American bases 500 km to Pakistani border we got nothing to worry about

Yaar Nabil brother, we have seen many intrusions interferences by US/NATO, I was talking about the example of May 2 using stealth helicopters and Chinook. If PAF react, there will be warning from F-18s, F16s, and AWAC. I know the deal was done between US and Pakistan before it happened.

PAF doesn't have capable against best air-forces in the world. Mirages and F-7s are old planes and should retire immediately which is impossible to face challenges by US. I tell you the truth, we haven't basically shot down drones as well as future intrusions.

No order by Pakistan government or Army, silence is only option we have so far.

“We are defending with full force and resolve our sovereignty and national interest."- Air Chief Marshall

He said thousand times and lied in front of us, Suleman (short-guy) should be replaced asap. :disagree:

These old qualifies planes are good against neighbour, not US/NATO. The best moment for PAF to remain silences in ten years, we continue to upgrade JFT and J-10Bs to be inducting near future.

.
There are dangers around both sides. If we keep our eyes open, No one will dare to harm us.
secondly never think enemy is inferior.Make yourself ready for tough war always.

Pakistan prepared to defend sovereignty: Qamar

KAKUL: Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman said on Saturday that while Pakistan vows to contribute to peace and prosperity in the world, it is fully prepared and capable of guarding its national interest and sovereignty with full force and resolve.

Addressing the cadets as chief guest at the passing out parade of 124th PMA Long Course, 23rd Technical Graduate Course, 43rd Integrated Course, 9th Lady Cadet Course and 19th Short Service Commission at the Pakistan Military Academy here, he said today, the nation faces unprecedented external as well as internal threats.

He said the armed forces of Pakistan are facing these challenges boldly and have offered countless sacrifices. “We fully understand our responsibilities and have the resolve to defend our way of life, principles and freedom

He asked the cadets to strive consistently to grow and mature in knowledge of modern technology and the art of warfare, as they advance in their professional life.

The air chief said that today, warfare is closely linked with technology, leading to revolutionary changes in concepts and doctrines. “Your professional competence will help you not only in mastering the modern concepts, but it will also give you the confidence and conviction, which you essentially require to become effective military leaders,” he added.

Rao Qamar called upon the cadets to live up to the trust and confidence the nation has reposed in them. “Whatever the circumstances and challenges be, always keep the national standard high. Let us revive our promise to make Pakistan a strong country, worthy of its name and the aspirations of its people,” he said.

Earlier, an impressive passing out parade of 124th PMA Long Course, 23rd Technical Graduate Course, 43rd Integrated Course, 9th Lady Cadet Course and 19th Short Service Commission was held. Well the air-marshal did not elaborate how do he plans to bring in J10B sooner then 2014 to Pakistani air-force

Surely the best way to safeguard our interest is to ensure we get J10B inducted 2012 into our Air-force and the JF17 thunder another 50 planes , that should shut up barking dogs

Honestly with these you can counter USA!
Even Russian or Chinese air force cannot win one to one with USAF!

wats ur point then?
atleast in a third class corrupt country we r having a decent air force.an air force that can defend itself against any indian agression which is also better equipped then paf.paf is the only organisation where u can find some professionalism otherwise we really suck in all other fields like engineering, medical, education, police, wapda, railways, sports, politics, army, navy.
us n nato togethor make up almost half of the air power of the world.no other air force single handedly can challenge half of the world air power.
paf single handedly saved atleast west pak in both wars.credit also goes to the jawans n low ranking officers of army.people like u r living today because of the sacrifices n lot of feats of bravery on part of paf personnel.now the enemy is too big n too strong.the only way to fight such an enemy is too unite n behave like a responsible nation(although people of subcontinent have always been good salves n bow down against any aggressors)
