SIGH! No one reads my posts!

Any plant I work on has a Pakistani origin...This just shows how good Pakistani crops are and I just wished Pakistan would initiate a joint research or something like India!

You know when I was working in Wales, Indians were coming in back and forth due to collaborations! Few Pakistani (that 1 wretched man who ruined my thesis) have come in and done research on Pakistani crops!

The European crops are not very good in nutrition or any other purposes...MOST (at least wheat, barley and rice) have a Pakistani parent from the initial cross! This just shows the interest of the West on our crops and how good the crops are...I wish Pakistan would collaborate and improve their crops! I am still learning techniques and technology keeps throwing newer techniques!

West's food habits changed due to genetically modified crops now they are moving back to organic crops.Whats going on in subcontinent is that they are dumping their genetically modified seeds here in collusion the lobby in the govt.Thats how most of cotton crops failed in india due to BT cotton seeds forcing farmers to commit suicides in Maharashtra.Agriculture minister of india is great proponent of pushing BT seeds in india literary forcing farmers.

As for the otehr side...MOST of my dad's income goes back to help the poor in Pakistan...We fund 1-2 schools (I think 1 is closed due to pathetic management) 1 madrassa (family owned) few shops (family owned) we also sponsored as many people who were interested in studying (started everything in our family we are not rich enough to support any more than that)

We have given to charity esp the earthquake victims...and many more...Its just that it is easier to fund all these activities than be there and get a headache from all the corruption

I admit we are weak...we try to do as much as we can...and maintain sane!

If you can expand your operations in education from individual efforts to say by group effort by roping in like minded people you can do lot better for more people.

You're most welcome dude. Day before yesterday it was about local drugs, then it became about physical fitness, now it's about charity.

Actually, we're all waiting for Zarvan to come and pass a fatwa against drugs/sex/physical fitness/ and charity to places other than terrorist schools!

I am not into GM crap! It is rubbish to start with...You spend soo much money and you are not even sure if the crop is sterile! And when you find that out then you dump/ sell it to Asians!

Infact in india people are getting awareness about GM crops.hence introduction of GM brinjal faced lot of opposition.But GM lobby is too strong right with in the GoI.

Within a reasonable limit I think thats exactly what certain streams of socialism advocate & so does communism but what it takes out is that cut-throat thingy whereby the richer get richer whilst the pauper stay poor for generations to come ! Pinky, do you have any commercial idea in mind that you may need financing for? Something that may work, 50/50 odds are good odds in this kind of venture.

Commercial ideas! 1st one I am interested is creating a good established education system...Nope it is not profitable! I have few relatives interested and 1-2 friends who have shown interest...


I want to make it free so that every Pakistani will have a chance at education! Then raising awareness and advantages of studying...Actually I had big dreams...If i announce people will say I am a dreamer

The dreams include providing houses for the poor and some form of jobs! I have seen how in the West people appreciate handicrafts and pay ALOT! THEN comes organic food stuff

Basically my idea is a whole town run on ideas! From farming practice to education system to homes!
