not untill now.we got married in usa.I've not came across such a rule per say or may be i ive no idea.but when i do go to pakistan in pak consulate they always asked for copy my hubby's passport and my nikahnama for verification before issuing visa both in usa and uk and ind.

Maybe I'm wrong I read that off a blog written in Express Tribune by an Indian lady who had to give up her nationality when she married a Pakistani !

i didnt faced any such problem.my husband's passport carries my name as his wife.even my passport carries his and when i got my name changed on passport..

In Pakistan, is wife's name mentioned on Husband's passport.. I always thought its father/husband's name ...

And as long as she does not want to become a Pakistani citizen, I dont see why she has to give up her nationality just because she has married a non Indian.. Sania Mirza is still an Indian citizen
