2x F-22B guided missile frigate (China),
2x Jianghu-III guided missile frigate (China),
2x 600 ton large patrol craft/missile corvette (China),
1x Hydrographic Survey ship (Indigenous),
1x Fleet Replenishment Oil Tanker (Indigenous),
2x LCU (Indigenous),
1x Salvage ship (Indigenous),
12x Patrol boats -Indigenous,
3x Harbin Z-9C Anti-Submarine helicopter (China),
C-802 ASM missiles for 3 frigate and 4 missile boats (China),
FM-90N SAM for 3 frigates (China) - already fitted on board BNS Bangabandhu.
2x guided missile corvette (Tender won by China)

On discussion:

3x guided missile frigates in addition to the couple ordered from (China / South Korea),
New generation of light and heavy Torpedoes (EU + China),
4x guided missile corvette (Turkey - Milgem),
3x Submarine (Turkey / Germany / South Korea / China).

Yes, BD will go for Ming class "decommissioned" subs from China which were first inducted in 1970s.

So he just said the Truth.

Hello, Ming class is a derivative of Romeo class submarine which was inducted as back as early 50s. A tuk tuk auto rickshaw has a better diesel engine than Ming class sub.

Ambitious, shouldn't be difficult if the money keeps flowing in (and out to the OEMs). The milgems are particularly sweet- capable boats. Careful though- if the subs are indeed zero-lifed decommissioned ming class subs then it will be turbulent sailing for your mariners. The mings are based on the soviet romeos and are really not stable from the design itself forget the construction- better solution would be to go for the new-build quing class subs that Pakistan has been eyeing. It'll be interesting to have a new sub-surface fleet in the neighborhood. Although I have it from close sources that the IN likes the troll the good mariners of the IOR, aggressive sub commanders are known to shoot off active pings to suddenly wake up fellow submariners who had no previous idea that the stealthy Type-209 was lurking about and tailing them. Btw any chance BD will ever buy Indian?

You cannot afford any other submarines other than Chinese, as German U212 costs more than $400 a pop, Turkish is a derivative of German U boats, while South Korean subs are in a different league while pricing.
