Short answer, yes we are. If we don't have warning time, we are fried. Unless we build ICBM's (in sufficient numbers) + enough warheads and naval second strike option, we will remain so.

Some say that Pakistan already has an ICBM under way or already one that is done & dusted but the certainty of sanctions looming about is what prevents us from testing them - How much truth could there be in such an assertion, Hypie ?

But the Second-Strike Capability is already coming along nicely; the Babur Naval Version is under development which means we could, theoretically, hit something 750 Kms away ! :D

I think we should pull off an Iran - If we go down...we're taking them poor Israelis with us ?

Even with ICBMs Pakistan is toast, where would Pakistan hide all these ICBMs?? In the case of any American nuclear assault on Pakistan it would begin with obliterating Pakistani ICBMs. If Pakistan wants to establish MAD with the US it should spend some money on Nuke subs instead. The missiles it currently has are sufficient and instead they should work on making them fully MIRV capable to offset any Indian interceptors. For the subs Pakistan should make enough that they cannot be easily be tracked or if they want to purchase subs that can shoot nuclear tipped missiles they should look at the German Dolphins.

Well, we do have a similar strike policy to the Samson Option. No not the country you mentioned, it works in a different way. You take out global points of interest, which is namely oil and ports. Now you got it.
