Frankly i do blame them . They Did weaseled out when UN offered Referendum . India in 1948 was neither politically nor military wise as strong that it could withhold a decision . Pakistan could have had all of it or non of it . Now i am sure whether now or after a thousand years , LAC will become LOC . There is no other way ....

I think India should just give the valley to Pakistan, call it a draw and do one last population transfer this time peacefully calling it a day. You may not agree with this but overall it would probably save both countries money as well. Both countries should recognize the rest of the regions as each other's territories. I have a proposal for Saichin as well if you are interested.

I wanted to join the Pakistan Army but both my Mom & Dad wouldn't let me...heck my Taya & Dada, despite being ex-Army, dissuaded me from joining the Pakistan Army & over time I suppose it sort of got lost but now when I look back I think - Kasssh Fauj joiiin hii kar leiii hotiiii !

LOC will never become border, status quo will remain with the freedom struggle continuing. Eventually Indians will realize the valley is not worth it and both sides will come to this conclusion. IMO

I don't think so . We can afford to bleed a few billion dollars . More than now than ever .Plus see past few years . "Freedom" struggle will eventually die down . We both are here . After a decade we will see who was closer to the mark ....

I could but my Mom & Dad would probably blow a buckshot in me for wasting away all the time & resources into becoming a chartered accountant only to abandon it right at the finish & by the time I finish it & have the BSc & MSc degree as part of the combined program (Professional + Academic qualification) I'd be a few months over the cut-off age of 23 !

But USN...dude why ? You're a Pakistani come join the Pakistan Army !

Yeah navy or marines, I haven't finalized yet. I had considered that but I believe I can be more of a service in the US Armed forces.

I am not a dual national, I do not have Pakistani nationality at all.
