No..this is not his mandate.Focus on economy.Leave social choices to the people themsleves.

Please Mr Modi, don't start disappointing me before you even take the chair. You have plenty of serious work to do, and moral policing is not one of them.

People are free to see or not see films they like or don't like - it is not the Prime Minister's job to save people from their own moral choices.

BTW, to anybody feeling happy about such a move - would you like the internet censored as well? I mean, you get a lot more pornography on the internet, and you can read all about extramarital or any other kind of relationship. Do you want the PM or govt snooping on you and making sure you don't read such stuff, and only read what they want you to read and see what they want you to see?

FFS, leave morality to the people, and concentrate on governance - that's what BJP was given a thumping mandate for, and not to save us from ourselves.

There are hundred other things in his list and the last thing would be to have a check on bollywood......

I would absolutely disagree... there are censor certification which are quite effective, Within the realm of the guidelines of censor board of India, Film makers have all the right to present their creativity. Government should rather concentrate on development, relaxation of redtape, providing education, infrastructure and reducing inflation...

and also why do some people assume that indian culture is antithesis of sexuality? indian culture has a healthy dose of eroticism as can be seen in temple sculptures and paintings. Vatsanya who wrote Kamasutra is called a Maharshi. Sex is one the important thing in life. Although i don't agree with Mahesh Bhatt type films which depict loveless/perverted sexuality but even those things are protected under freedom of speech/action

It is a 1 minute video. Given the fact that it is from ToI, you should have at least checked it before commenting. It would have taken less time than writing a two line post.
