Myths about common day life of Muslims in India.

I have been lot of post from Pakistani's about Muslims in India. I have found a lot of times things reported are not accurate, but far from reality. I therefore thought of starting this thread.

Note:- This thread is about common day life not about riots etc, we all know riots occurred in India and we all know both sides started the riots and killed (Minus selective readers). So that is not the discussion of this thread. The discussion is common day life.
1) Muslims girls are forced to Marry Hindus.
Fact is no one in India can force Muslims to sing Vande Matram and forcing to marry seems farfetched, also people who say this should get some proof as well.
2) Muslims are forced to change their tradition attire etc.

Fact, if you are more interested to find how much freedom they have to go to Bandra station in Mumbai. Where Muslims block the road and do Nawaz on road. Now if they are free to do that and many other examples. How can they be forced for petty things?
The fact is what I have seen grown up is very different from how people outside specially Pakistani's see it. I have a general feeling that since Pakistan was created based on some people telling Muslims that Hindus will ill treat them. They always feel that Muslims in India are being ill treated. What is further bad is these people never try to open their eyes and see the facts.

I have lived with Muslims in India, being minority they always live together, generally in one Area. Where ever they live they generally dominate to the extent that outsiders actually fear (This is the fact, in those localities you are seen either as a Muslim or Non Muslim).

I have seen many societies where Muslims are in Majority that they have converted a house/flat into either a Masjid or Madarsa. The fact is both are illegal by law, you cannot have a religious place in residential building (You can create one in the ground). I personally lived in one society (Brahma Estate Kondhwa, Pune) Where Muslims were more in number and they tried creating Madarsa etc again illegal.

My point is when they have so much guts that they try to force their way of living on others how come they be oppressed?

Another fact is while Muslims are always united to an extent that they are seen as vote banks, Hindus are not as united as people feel. They are more divided on lines of state, language etc (North Indian south Indian, Maharastrian, Tamil, Telgu etc.).
Some people simply ignore when Muslim do something against Hindus but will highlight anything even simplistic against Hindus. E.g. Muslims also have places where they do not allow Hindus to buy property, have you ever seen that in News? Even India media always play support minorities yet people feel they are oppressed. The fact of the matter is if you are Muslim in India you can easily make any wrong thing against you as a oppression and play victim. This goes to show much society protect them.

In the end, In India a Muslim cannot be forced to do even small things against their wishes and some people believe that they have been forced to change their religious values.

I would like to ask you to prove this or accept the fact. What is on the ground is important than what you believe. Also use an international forum to learn about others rather than just believing what you believe. There are so many Indian Muslims here, ask them about their living rather than forcing your views on others.

By and large, what you have mentioned is what happens in every society and every country. Minorities get away with many things for which the "majority" will be judged. In America, a Black person can get away with minor racial slurs against Whites and Latinos, but the same in reverse can get pretty serious with the media. In India, persecution of Hindus never gets as much attention as the atrocities against Muslims in the same Kashmir valley. In Pakistan, the death of a Shia gets more attention than the death of a Sunni in terrorist attacks. Such is life, and there is no easy solution to it.

The only thing we need to shed off is the holier-than-thou attitude in judging others. Pakistanis and Bangaldeshis routinely accuse "Hindus" of conspiring against "Muslims". The Persians accuse the Pakistani and Arab Sunnis of conspiring against Shias, and the list can go on. The important thing is to understand that majority-phobic reporting exists everywhere, and we need to take such news with a pinch of salt.

I have to say that whatever you have written is what i also think and have seen in my life.

The point of Muslims blocking roads is so true in a number of cities...in Bangalore,Shivaji Nagar(dont go by the name..its a muslim majority area).....during ramzan they block the road and even the police cant do anything about.

Another point which i liked is about Hindus...there is absolutely no unity among Hindus...there is North-South divide...then there is so much regionalism specially in states like Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Muslims have held every senior post in our country....from President to Generals in the Army.

The riots also which everyone talks about was started by muslims by burning the train.

In every country there is a majority which dominates and when a minority takes a step against the majority...the majority always retaliates...i am reffering to riots here....after the muslims burned hindus in train...riots were bound to happen.

In India,there is unity only among Sikhs,Muslims and women.

Fact: Most Indian Muslims wake up and are forced to instantly go to the nearest Hindu's house where the Hindu takes his morning piss in the mouth of the Muslim. The Hindu then shites in his bed and the Muslim has to wash the linens for him and then bathe the Hindu and make his breakfast. At some point the Muslim has to also take a piss and he does so in a crystal glass which is then provided to the Hindu so he can drink from it.

Fact: Indian Muslims are frequently dragged out of their cars and out of taxis and buses and sodomized and raped by gangs of Hindu men. The Muslims have to bear this silently because if they complain the gangs bring monkeys and elephants into the fray.

Myth: Indian Muslims can practice their faith freely.

Fact: Only if they accept that Islam is a in fact a 'vedic religion' and essentially 'Hinduism' since pre-Islam Arabia worshiped idols, which were likely brought there by ancient Indians who discovered Arabia, sand and camels and how to ride them, tie turbans and grow beards.

Useless thread.what is the use of such a thread?.INDIA,doesnt need to clarify to the whole world about how we are and how our minorities are treated and especially to the pakistanis.Face it,you cant change a mindset which has been a result of hard work by pakistani leaders spanning 63 years.And,also there is a lot which has to be done for the minorities in India.Urban India has realised it,but has rural and some parts of sub-urb India?.We know it,but do all?.Are all our leaders thinking such?.AND,yes this topics are for discussion in an Indian forum,where positive discussions takes place in case of such topics,not here.just my thinking.
