I like the Chinese saying, 读万卷书不如行万里路(One can learn more by travelling ten thousand miles than by reading ten thousand books. I like this saying cause I didn't read as much as @Nihonjin1051 .

Agree. @Nihonjin1051yes, they are trips i took and that's why i recommend it to you.
agree with you on the merits of travelling, always feel how small i am in front of the power of nature and the unknown of universe during travels like above, that's truly something beyond the words and theories we read .... well i'm interested in the people too, culture & history (and food!) stuff kind of my soft spot, hehehe.
@Nihonjin1051 on the other hand is truly the thinker here. . i think he can pass as an overseas Cantonese in Guangzhou easily without raising any suspicion. (agree? @Nihonjin1051 )

Yeah, that is why reddit /r/China is such a joke.To be quite honest, I truly cherish and enjoy the high quality information from a number of Chinese members here: @Chinese-Dragon , @Yizhi , @Shotgunner51 , @xudeen , @AndrewJin , @birdy , @hans , @cnleio , @Genesis , @TaiShang , @tonyget (there are many more, sorry if i forgot to tag!). This is the reason why i keep on coming back to PDF as I love interacting / learning from the genuine Chinese posters here.

Just walked the most interesting section, from the village road to the riverside of Yangtze. From the riverside to the highest point of Haba Snowy Mountain and Jade Dragon Snowy Mountain which clamp the Yangtze in the middle, the vertical distance is about 3800 metre.
