...this actor in particular(Naseeruddin Shah) should STFU. He actively portrayed Muslims in a negative manner. I vaguely remember one of his movies where he played the role of a terrorist...or a terrorist handler(working for ISI) in some Indian film...
...he probably thought that he was only showing "Pakistanis" in a negative light...but conveniently forgot that he was also representing Muslims in that manner. Whatever the perception is of Indian Muslims within India...he has played a part in it, however insignificant it may be in the big scheme of things.
