Muslim groups oppose renaming Jakarta street after Turkey’s Ataturk

Should I hold Pakistan responsible for things the Ottomans did? Answer me this. Simple question.
What does Pakistan have to do with this?

The point is when Christians converted mosques into Churches in Spain, was it not wrong?

YES OR NO?

Answer this question.

Besides that if Muslims in Turkey want to convert churches into mosques that is their internal affairs.

You still didn't answer the basic gist of the questions and arguments. lol.

Should I hold Pakistan responsible for things the Ottomans did? Answer me this. Simple question.
Flawed logic. Pakistan has nothing to do with Ottomans, and does not change the fact that Christians forcibly converted mosques into churches in Spain.

Wrong logic here buddy. :D

SEPUTARTANGSEL.COM - The name of the founder and first president of the Republic of Turkey , Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is being discussed as the name of a street in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta.

The naming of the street in Jakarta using the name of the Turkish secular figure Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was referred to as a reciprocal for the name of the first President of Indonesia, Soekarno as the name of the street in the Turkish capital , Ankara, with the name 'Ahmet Soekarno '.

The plan to name the street using the name Mustafa Kemal Atatürk made the Chief Doctor of United Indonesia, Doctor Eva Sri Diana Chaniago furious.

Doctor Eva said that Indonesia is not a country that belongs to a group of people, but belongs to the people.

"Haloooo.. This country belongs to the people, not a group of people," wrote Doctor Eva , quoted by SeputarTangsel.Com from the Twitter account @__Sridiana_3va, Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Furthermore, Doctor Eva refused and asked the government to cancel the plan to rename a street in Jakarta using the name Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

According to her, this does not need to be done to appreciate the fighters of the country who have fought for the independence of Indonesia.

"Please respect our warriors!! Please respect people's feelings!!" she said.

In addition, Doctor Eva emphasized that Indonesia has never had any debt to the First President of Turkey .

"This country has never owed anything to this human being," she said.

Previously, in a Virtual Coffee event on Friday, October 15, 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Ankara, Muhammad Iqbal revealed that he had made a commitment with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and plans to change the name of the street in Jakarta to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Iqbal said the inauguration of the street name Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is planned when Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visits Indonesia in 2022.

For information, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's policies often contradict the Islamic principles adopted by most Turkish citizens .

As for some of the controversial policies of the Turkish secular figure during his leadership, such as changing the call to prayer to Turkish , dissolving the caliphate, turning the Hagia Sophia Mosque into a museum, revoking permits for religious schools, and others. ***

So this is another example to debunk comment from foreigner saying Indonesian is secular. Secularism in Indonesia has bad image.

Intermezo

This is where Barrack Obama lived in his childhood in Indonesia. The house is in Menteng region, Central Jakarta. Current house belongs to Tata Abu Bakar family, retired Navy officer who has passed away.

Minutes 1.05 is the elementary school where little Obama studied. His step father is Muslim by the way.

Little Obama also some time lived in Yogyakarta, Central Java

Obama visited his school in Menteng

You cannot have it both ways - blame it on geographical separation

and then claim Banglas are different

Bangla is in Indic language family group like Punjabi or Sindhi

Punjabhi is an Aryan language from Europe while Bangla is a Dravidian language from Africa.

It was the graduation ceremony at the War College in Istanbul, and Sultan Abdul Hamid Khan was the chief guest. The Minister of War was reading out the names of the staff officers to come to the dais and get their diplomas from the Sultan. A young staff captain from Salonika, named Mustafa Kemal, rendered his salute to receive the diploma. The Sultan looked at Staff Captain Mustafa Kemal's face and said, "O you have come at last"! Nobody understood what he meant. From then on the Sultan used to address himself as the Last Sultan. It turned out to be so for he was in fact the Last Sovereign in its true terms....

It was Mustafa Kemal Pasha who abolished both the Saltanat and the Khilafat for they finished their six hundred years and thirteen hundred years old life times, respectively, as per HIS PLAN. Everything is Fa'ni, only HE is Ba'ki....

As for Turkey, she's again on the path to reclaim her place in the Muslim world, and, Insha'Allah it will be more grandeur and magnificent than the Ottoman Empire.....

*TB2 drones, which have destroyed almost everything the Russians have thrown at them in a plethora of fronts, are a split-second flash of what's to come.
**The Fitne and Fesat in the Muslim world is the Keffara for all the collective sins they commit, so that they can get to the Ahiret with a clean book of deeds.

it is your country your rules. But passing judgements on foreign leaders is a risky business with respect to bilateral relationships

Malaka is masturbation your favorite hobby? Seriously. Stop saying the same bull again and again. You keep spamming 5 pages about the same thing. You keep nagging about "Alhambra". I'm telling you Alhambra was a castle and palace, not a mosque, you ignore it. You keep nagging about Alhambra and Spain,I tell you that since you talk about Muslims and Christians in general, that Muslims started converting churches into mosques first and then you say "date is irrelevant".

Now who is the dishonest one?

The version followed in Turkey all these years that pissed you off so much and has you cheering about AKP,thinking you will see a new Caliphate soon.

@waz @LeGenD @WebMaster @Irfan Baloch @Deino @SQ8 @Foxtrot Alpha @PakSword

What's this clown here? Where did you find this guy? He keeps insulting everyone and gets away with it.

Hagia Sophia.. the Alhamra of Christians?

no doubt. such places are always higher than the petty mortals like us who fight each other over over their exclusive definition of God.

Constantinople was center of Christianity for close to 1000 years. The Moorish Spain is a footnote in Islamic history.

The judgement is stated by Indonesians, it is for domestic consumption. We are a democratic nation with free speech and free media. LOL even there is Indonesian group sue our President in the court about environment issue and they win.

Government and our diplomat dont make any judgement on Ataturk, they are neutral if you can understand the interview of our ambassador and also diplomatic statement stated by Ahmad Riza Patria, Jakarta Governor Deputy, regarding the controversy.
