These judges want to immortalise their name in indian justice system by these type of extravagant ruling ..
If she has the ability to select right partner at 15 then she will be mature enough to vote ..why not lower age limit to cast vote ?

Tunisia in the Age of marriage is 20 years for girls and boys, and this by law and there few cases of married at age 20 because they marrey in the age of 25 to 35
and that gives man time to get him self ready for it ( house a well payed job and car )

Indian members are so concerned about what age a Muslim can marry while millions of baby girls are being murdered for being girls.
Seriously guys, get over yourselves.
Even in the west a girl as young as 15 can get married.

But according to the new The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act..it will criminalize all teenage sex and used as a tool to harrass the boy eventhough the girl is a consenting party.

Your complaining here about a fifteen year old girl in puberty age getting married when in india there are girls even under puberty in the prostitution (9 years old), but you people don't seem to bother too much about that since it has nothing to do with Muslims.


A survey conducted by Indian Health Organization of a red light area of Bombay shows:-

"1. 20% of the one lakh prostitutes are children.
2. 25% of the child prostitutes had been abducted and sold.
3. 6% had been raped and sold.
4. 8% had been sold by their fathers after forcing them into incestuous relationships.
5. 2 lakh minor girls between ages 9yrs-20yrs were brought every year from Nepal to India and 20,000 of them are in Bombay brothels.
6. 15% to 18% are adolescents between 13 yrs and 18 yrs.
7. 15% of the women in prostitution have been sold by their husbands
8. Of 200m suffering from sexually transmitted diseases in the world 50m alone were in India.

These are two separate issues . Just because one outrage happens in this country does not mean we should allow another to happen as well when we can control it .

But you don't control the other related issues like female infanticide/gendercide and child prostitution (girls as young as 9 who are far from being in puberty). In fact, it takes place in every major city/area of india (female gendercide, child prostitution) yet here indians are concerned about allowing 15 years old Muslim girls in their puberty to choose their own husband.
