There is numbers of survey claiming rise in poverty of Pakistan, that's why there had been no census of poverty in Pakistan since a long time. But leave it, we can talk it somewhere else, lets continue with Rajputs and Afghans.

That does not form most of their history man , they ruled their land for considerable periods although never made a unified or successful empire but they ruled their land in small kingdoms

Maybe not most but these people never even put up a fight against invaders. Only Punjabi to my knowledge to do so was Dulla Bhatti who was a Rajput. Remember the Ummayad Caliphate? They didn't even put up a skirmish against them, it was Rajasthanis who stopped the Ummayad Caliphate at Sindhi while Punjabis just accepted them.
