Congratulations to both Behdad Salimi and Sajjad Anoushiravani Hamlabad (!)

I still think Hossein Rezazadeh had the potential to lift more than 500 kg in total, sad that he was injured, could not live up to his potential. Maybe Behdad Salimi under the guidance of Hossein Rezazadeh will improve his performance further to create more world records.

I thought Hossein has now retired and was there as an accompanying official? Surely an Iranian icon nonetheless.

As a coincidence, last night when I was in Mominpura to pick up some Ramzan eats, I met a guy wearing a T shirt that said "Iran Volleyball Federation." Got talking to him.

Seems you guys have a pretty good system in place.

Majority of Marathis I have seen in real life r skinny, maybe they do have some hidden talents which I am not ware of. But Punjabis of India especially Jatts and Sikhs have better builds etc. But now I know, u will go to google, google for an hour and show me 1-2 Marathis with good builds. No need to do that, I can google myself, I am good at that ;) :pop:

Most Indians are vegetarian that's why they are mostly slender. They are not really skinny and thin, definitely not most.

Well, maybe he was using the word in a different way from how it is normally used in English?

Normally it means Nordic Europeans in a racial sense, however the root of the word means Iranian if I remember correctly.

The root is Sanskrit origin. Which is a sister language of Avestan. It doesn't mean Nordic Europeans, it means 'noble'. It got that meaning because of Nazis. It was never an ethnic term.
