Education is the KEY to development of Pakistan. This is how Pakistan can benefit from Education:

1. A highly educated Pakistan would become infinitely more Productive.

2. More Education will make our highly emotional people more " RATIONAL AND LOGICAL " and reduce crime and violence.

3. More Educational will improve Services and Health Care sectors in Pakistan.

4. Educated people normally have fewer Children and that would stop Pakistan's exploding Population.

.
Educated people are also less likely to commit violent acts or break the law because teachers enforce that on the kids at a young age. That is one of the reasons why China developed so much faster than other countries.

.
For a society to progress, education is just one part, the most important thing is the outlook of her elites and people. USA today has more graduates than before, but her graduates are all under-employed. The economy is in trouble.

More troubled than EU? 美国不断吸收高技术移民,社会竞争比欧洲高福利国家更激烈,经济也更有动力。

Like they say the russian federation is synonymous with literacy and education

Well, If Education means degrees and certificates, then I will not agree to it. Today's Generation have good education, but not educated well enough. Our forefathers did not have enough of this education, but their thoughts were more rational then today's. Educated also means rational thinking and common sense which we lack today.

To many people think going to university is the ultimate goal, far to many people with shitty degrees who have no life experience and no real practical experience. Apprenticeships/training in industry are worth 10 times a piece of paper, sadly most the world still thinks a degree is valuable when these days it is about as valuable as a-levels in the UK 20 years ago, not very.

Russia must indeed be the best educated country in the world. My uncle studied in the Soviet Union. I gather from his experiences that Russia has the best academic culture in the world. Also according to my uncle the best university in the world is not some american or british university but is actually the Moscow State University.
