I'm not pro US or VC. They can start a civil war for all I care. In the end, it comes down to the implication for China. They start the war, China can support VC again but ask and get more in return this time. Once victorious, Vietnam will be like 1980s again. Win for China. Win for Vietcong.

Yep, all riots started from south, since people there are more pro-US, and it is also easier for the CIA to operate there, since many mixed people with American/Vietnamese ancestry will work for them.
