More than 20 dead, doctor says, as anti-China riots spread in Vietnam

wtf are you guys talking abt? its really like 1st grade children conversation.

If you Chinese think that those islands belong to you prove it. Not by saying those Islands are in South China Sea so its China. South China Sea is chosen as an international name because it is a sea and it is South of China, it doesnt mean everything in South China Sea belong to China. Its just like Gulf of Iran doesnt belong to Iran alone (it belongs to Iran,Irag,Saudi Arabia, Oman,...).

For you fellow Vietnamese, if you guys could have proven sources which state that Spratly Islands belong to us, show them. Proven sources mean not from wikipedia, not from our government (they dont believe).

From my point of view, in long past those islands belong to noone, they are inhabitant. Then some Vietnamese move there to live and fishing. More than 200 hundreds years ago, Vietnam gov decide that part of those islands belong to VN. Up to 50 years ago, Chinese gov have no interest in those islands (or they have but i dont know. if any of you can prove that they did have something to do with those islands, please show us). 40 years ago, Chinese gov decided that they want those Spratly Is so they ordered some ships to go out there and take some islands.

" late 1987, the PRC started deploying troops to some of the unoccupied reefs of the Spratly Islands. Soon after the PLA stormed the Johnson South Reef on 14 March 1988, a skirmish began between Vietnamese troops and PRC landing parties. Within a year, the PLA occupied and took over seven reefs and rocks in the Spratly Islands" source Cheng, Tun-jen; Tien, Hung-mao (2000). The Security environment in the Asia-Pacific. Armonk, N.Y: M.E. Sharpe. p. 264

" T
he Chinese seized the Paracels from Vietnam in 1974, killing more than 70 Vietnamese troops." source BBC News World. Asia Conflicts

Both of these sources cleary tell that: Chinese seized Paracels from Vietnam. So we were already there, you go in try to seize from us and now you say that its all yours?

"The dispute is inevitably linked to China’s rise and its military ambitions in the Asia-Pacific region" and "protest by the Vietnamese court at Hue, which had established its control over the islands well before the French conquests of Vietnam."
source Jörn Dosch (2011). The Spratly Islands Dispute: Order-Building on China’s terms?. International Havard Review

This source state that there is this dispute because China feel stronger now, and those islands are Vietnam land from long time ago.

Chinese guys on this forum please come up with some credible debate
