Mi17 Helicopter Crash in Budgam: IAF to Probe All Angles (Read Friendly Fire)

Are sir choren , yeh NS ki muhabbat mn andha hogya hai ... Without realizing that NS is enemy of Pakistan
don't decide who is blind in whose love, i can also say same thing about you k "Yeh IK ki muhabbat may andha ho gya ha ... Without realising that how IK damaged Pakistan through dharna and agitative politics, and now through failed economic policies".
Its a long debate, right... and this thread is not about it. So kindly do not derail it, will discuss this in detail if you want at some appropriate thread.

Indians are also worried about mysterious incidents...:-)

Remember few things. MI-17 is most trusted platform and labeling it with causing of Tech Snag, wouldn't go unaddressed by OEM as well. Seems like Russia will have to step in as well to verify any tech glitch.

Secondly, sacking Chief of Western Air Command, may be the result of this along with other losses.

Thirdly, Indian Air Defence totally failed, though the are learning through hard way, and took down MI-17V5.

Fourthly, Those were all IAF personnel & I don't think that they have to do anything on that particular site/area. What were those ill fated personnel doing there in MI-17V5? has to be answered or may reveal by the time. The most plausible scenario could be that, MI-17V5 along with few personnel on board were somehow reaching a crash site of 2nd IAF lost JET to pick up pilot (s) & anything sensitive.

Below map, based upon available information may describe that MI-17V5 crash has nothing to do with Abhinandan or as Pakistan said "we didn't shoot it" which Indian initially acknowledged by way of calling it a "Tech Fault".

MI-17 crash inside IoK 27-02-2019.jpg

50 KM or max distance can be calculated between the claimed site of AMRAAM at Chassana Tehsil of Reasi District by Indians & MI-17V5 went down in Budgam or near that. In such tensed atmosphere when they received a call of an IAF bird is down somewhere, MI-17V5 took off with concern officials (IAF only) but met an undesired end.

Either chopper was coming back from rescue or it was going to pick-up. By looking at details of the personnel that died in MI-17 crash, one of them was S/L Ninad Anil and another F/L Siddharth Vashisht along with 4 others on-board.

Seems while in hot scramble, the IAF pilots fired at the first thing they saw without taking into account how deep was the helicopter inside the IOK.
Now one can imagine their pilots skill level..

It has been confirmed on the basis of anonymity; an IAF person revealed that fateful Helicopter Mi-17 on 27th Feb was shot down by MiG-21 Bison from IAF station Srinagar killing all six on board and one civilian on ground. A unique case of Fratricide (shooting down own aircraft). The Chief of Western Air Command reportedly was sacked on IAF losses on 27th Feb and incompetence shown by IAF aircrew.

Indian own news agency had solved the issue. Lagta ha ahista ahista khul rhe han.

I am so sad for the Kashmiri youth who died that day.. He was a 19 year old chap, his father died when he was three.. He was the only son living with his mother..

Inna lillah e wa inna ilaihe Raji'un..

The MI-17 was sent in air to establish comms with downed pilots and guide them to safety. This whole aerial engagement has many Indians and it's Ally birds fallen which will be reavealed in due time.

Another Pakistani version of Feb 27 events proven to be true or more likely to be true. Feb 27 was nothing short than a nightmare for IAF which will have deep impact in their psyche and operational SOPs moving forward.

Ispr said we will be surprise them and Ohh boy they did.

Indian Authorities are the custodian for most of the truth inside IoK and there are too many claims being made or either changed since days. Even, we are hearing about fire inside IAF building. The possibilities & guesses can go all wild and only, concern personnel does hold truth with them. However, we can only try to connect dots as per available info in public domain & try to draw down most possible sketches of the events not known openly.

And the reality is that Pakistan retaliate & hit indian aircraft.

Mi-17 is not a combat heli, it is a transport helicopter and highly unlikely that Pakistan jets can shoot down a transport, non combat helicopter.

Also when Pak jets attacked six targets across LOC, they deliberately missed the military targets where there could be casualties and fired on depots or on empty areas...so as to give a clear and pertinent message, we could have fired to kill!!.

And Pakistan jets JF-17 engaged the intruding Indian jets, and in the dogfight shot the 2 jets, one is obviously Mig-21 Bison, other could be a Su-30 MKI. The idea is Pakistan did not 'shoot to kill' in the attack, rather on the defensive.
