If not saying Merry Christmas makes me a narrow minded bigot, I'm okay with that. At the end of the day, Allah's opinion is more valuable to me than the opinion of someone such as yourself, who has repeatedly shown his inadequate knowledge of Islam, sided against Muslims, blasphemed, and made a baseless takfir among other things.

Oh and here's a bright idea, how about instead of saying Merry Christmas you just say happy holidays or something to that effect? It's just as polite and actually halal.

So we are almost there - time for me to say "Merry Christmas" to all. Let's celebrate the one thing that all members here share - our essential humanity and that goodness is quality that is trans-national and found across all of our species. So where ever you and and who ever you are I wish you a happy X'mas and peace. Our house will be full because my twin daughters birthday is on the 25th and family members from far and near are coming - the holidays affords everybody a unique opportunity to get together. So we might not be Christians but every years this time of the year is time to get together. Lots of Chicken, Kebabs, Karai, cakes, sweets, desserts are going to be consumed.

Just a question. According to the videos you posted Christmas is a pegan/satanic day. The imam guy in one of the videos was comparing it to one), so pious Muslims are forbidden to say it or (worse still,) partake in it I suppose (which to me is understandable given the difference in religion)?
I guess it's for this reason people were outraged by the recent TESCO Christmas ad portraying Muslim partaking in Christmas with their Christians counterpart.

I respect that, however as I said in another thread a while ago. I don't think we can all follow our holy books by the word in today's world to be honest. Some of them are just not feasible anymore.
For example of you wanted to follow the Islam word by word then you Muslims will all have to totally reject nationalism and shun your national heroes etc. Since being nationalistic or celebrating your national heroes will somehow go against Islam itself, NO? The sole authority over the social life of a Muslim should be Islam/Quran, not a government who doesn't follow these laws if I'm not wrong?
So I think it's good that many people around the world have been adapting to this changing world, else they will find it difficult to live with others or their authorities/leaders.

I do shun nationalism, as does pretty much every religious Muslim.

Praising national heroes is fine though, so long as they are praised for their good works, and not for anything bad that they have done.
