I've seen your charts a 100 times now. Don't threaten me with it

Devaluation from PTI is a GOOD thing for Pakistan. But I don't credit PTI for it. IMF asked PTI to devalue currency when Imran went to IMF after a delay. That is all I'm saying. :big_boss:
IMF is lender of last resort. It's like a central bank of the world. Your India too went to IMF in 1991 after facing similar crisis Pakistan faces every 5 years. Only difference is India went there once and fixed its economy. Pakistan has gone there 22 times already without fixing its economy.

Everybody knows this history. What is your point?

Sometimes I think you are just trolling Pakistan. Are you an Indian under cover?! I will not be surprised if that is the case

Point is Pakistan is using IMF, WB etc to kick the can down the road. If the intention was to fix its economy they would have done it the first they went to IMF like India. But Pakistan keeps going to IMF again and again every 5 years instead of fixing the structural problems in its economy. The dependency on IMF and other international lenders has thus become habitual instead of one time emergency loan.

FYI - I'm not a PLMN supporter. I only want to learn the rationality of criticism on PLMN's macro economic policies from PTI supporters. So far, I've only seen currency manipulation. PTI for its part has fuel subsidy which damages economy the same way. Also, PTI's currency devaluation policy was dictated by IMF
Currency manipulation that artificially inflated PKR which in turn destroyed exports and made us into a import oriented economy....

EDIT: PMLN core voter base is made up of traders. All they want was low import cost so they could make money.

What structural reform do you propose for Pakistan? In India's case the reforms were about opening the economy to outside investors. But Pakistan is already open for business.

Question is open for anyone who has idea in the matter

It's not. Overseas Pakistanis have lost everything investing in Pakistani real estate market. Pakistan has very few export oriented industries to invest for foreigners. Recently a few tech startups have started to attract global capital but it's still in its infancy stage unlike India, Israel or Singapore

Sure. Tech is a good sector for English speaking population that Pakistan has. But you are not addressing the structural reform that you want to see?
