Man lynched in Mian Chunnu over alleged blasphemy

Allah he hamaaray haal per reham karay. This is height of inhumanity and lawlessness.

Steps Pakistan should take to solve these issues:

1) create a national registry of all madressas
2) create a national registry of all molvis
3) all molvis must be certified
4) create a national curriculum for madressas (like the bare minimum to ensure quality education)
5) treat madressas how you would treat schools. Ensure quality education and once a while carry out inspections.
6) madressas can only be opened after government approval (a committee does background check on people wanting to open madressas to ensure no jahils do)

We can turn our madressas into world class educational institutes all we need is good laws in place. All of the recommendations I made are allowed in Islam.

Also Pakistan being a majority Sunni country with majority of population following hanafi fiqh (barelvis and deobandis are both majority hanafi fiqh) should apply hanafi laws for blasphemy.
Imam Abu Hanifa’s view was a non Muslim living in a Muslim state should not be killed as punishment for blasphemy and could be forgiven.

The disciples of Prophet Esa pbuh approached him on how to differentiate between right and wrong factions of people?

His pbuh reply was

"Ye shall known them by their fruits ------"

There's something fundematlly wrong with our ahnaaf as is evident by the conduct of their two subcontinental offshoots ,TLP & TTP, responsible for unprecedent murder and mayhem in this land .

Actually the thing is, when religion doesn't get enforced by govt, people make it look more harsher in akhirat if not properly followed in this world. So this gives rise to two distinct groups: mutashaddid or extremists and mulhid or atheists. The problem that you think particular with Ahnaf is common with all other school. Same ignorance by govt, and same enforcement by religious leaders.
People kill these so called blasphemers for two reasons : either they know that govt will not do anything or they can do it and again, govt will not be able to do anything.

Which begs the question why only a particular segment is showing a voilent streak why not others? E.g Shia, Ahle Hadees?

Is it more to do with the indoctrination at an early age ?

Because they are in majority. And there are many shops in the town and competition is fierce.. Zaroorat ijad ki Maan Hai... Or hamary yahan ijad kch zaroorat se ziada Hai.

The namoos e rasalat majan is sold and consumed the most by Barelvi fanatics in this country. It then extends out to other religious icons as well. You just need to rile up the religious frenzy and then anyone could be butchered for anything under the sun, burning Quran or whatnot.
All sects are selling their own chooran instead of teaching quran and sunna. Barelvies have namoos-e-risalat. Deobandi have sahabah. Shia have Ahl-e-bait. etc.

Some of the things found in this segment are contrary to Quran and Sunnah. The molvies know this but won't speak out for fear of being fired or beaten. General public does what their parents have been doing. With the advent of digital age and democratization of information, this segment is feeling threatened(from the likes of engineer). It is reacting by violently latching onto blasphemy/qadiani issue.

Nothing will work without 2 things.

Education and rule of law.

If they hang everyone at the lynching and repeat the process the next 10 times - there won't be an 11th time.

Jahil donkeys involved in such shit don't know any fiqh.
