Malaysia demographic engineering against non-Muslims

Then you should know many Singaporeans are straits-born Chinese, you cannot judge their education system using our own standard.

You are wrong. A very insignificant Chinese here are peranakan. But they are dominant minorities. They manage to confuse the Chinese. Nevertheless, since the independence of Singapore, the peranakan and Chinese married one another so much that Peranakan have lost their identity.

Most Perankan despise Chinese culture. They identify themselves with colonial masters. The real Chinese identify themselves with Chinese culture.

Straits-born chinese are definitely smaller in number, I said "many," not most. And I don't think the straits-born chinese despised chinese culture. Most of them spoke chinese dialect. They were just too localized and rightly so since Singapore was a British colony.

You are wrong again, they are not many. I dont even think they are 5% of total Chinese. Can you say there are many Jews in USA when their numbers are less or around 5%? You do not understand SE Asian history. The Straits Chinese are the one who killed off Chinese education, and force anglicized the whole population, in a very high intensity manner. Most do not speak dialect. They speak Malay or English.

Kuan Yew is a banana. Followings are what wikipedia write about Kuan Yew. Lee and his wife Kwa Geok Choo were married on 30 September 1950. Both speak English as their native tongue. Lee started learning Chinese in 1955 at age 32, before that he was illiterate in Chinese. How can someone who is illiterate in Chinese, conceptualizes things in English, brought up 100% in English culture, represent the Chinese people?

Kuan Yew's mother, Mrs Lee Chin Koon, nee Chua Jim announced to the whole world that Straits-born Chinese (Peranakan) as a "race apart from Chinese". They have their own special kind of food, their own customs, and they spoke Malay or English -- and not Chinese.

The English speakers are good estimate of peranakan. After Kuan Yew and British anglicize Singapore for many years, there are just around 10% of English speaking Chinese in 80s. In the early 1900 or 1950, the English speaking Chinese are much much less. And many of these English speakers in 80s are Anglicized Chinese, not peranakan.

We just cannot stand any muslim country .... NO India is OK, Israel is OK ... but syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, all muslim countries need to change their outlook and shd kill have have fights amongst themselves.....

A use less write-up and use less reference..... this is a extremely bias thread.

Lee Kuan Yew came from a well to do background. No surprising his first language was English, the language of the ruling elite. I don't claim to be expert in SE Asia history, but to say they killed off chinese education is quite an exaggeration. As you mentioned, the PAP govt were mainly english speaking elite, naturally they would implement policy based on their ethos. I think it's more apt to say they promoted English, rather than they killed chinese education per se. Mandarin Chinese was still a required subject in school. The same govt also promoted simplified hanzi.

The above graph shows that in 1980, the Chinese speaking Chinese family is 10%, today Chinese get so despise that English speaking Chinese family is 60%, and the long term trend is 100% of Chinese turn monolingual into English speaker.

This do not happen in Britsih colony of Chinese land like elsewhere like Hong Kong. The reason it happen is because Kuan Yew shut down the entire Chinese school system. Our Chinese school systems are the magnet for the entire SE Asia Chinese. We could easily be flooded by Chinese cultural elites and Chinese should be dominant if not of Kuan Yew's intervention.

Nevertheless with China' emergence, the emasculation of Chinese language is expected to be reversed.

You cannot compare with Hong Kong. It was run by british.
From what I read, he wanted an integrated education system for all, this would not be possible if you have stand alone Indian School, Malay School, Chinese school, and English school.
As I said, Chinese was still a required subject in school. This is suffice to prove his intention was not to kill chinese education.

If Singapore was run by British, there will still be Chinese school Not only that, British has not molested the TV broadcast of Min Nan and Cantonese languages program. Kuan Yew banned it.

Exactly the point I was arguing. Singapore was run by english speaking chinese elite, hence the policy is based on their ethos. Not because they wanted to kill chinese education. His sons were sent to well known chinese clan school
He banned it because he wants to promote Mandarin Chinese as standard. He is well known for being draconian about things, like chewing gums.

Urdu speaking Arabs in Hyderabad, India or Bahasa speaking Arabs in Indonesia, are examples of mixed people who remember some of their migrant ancestors. I have no direct knowledge about them, so don't know how different their identity is from other local Muslims.

So even back 50 years ago, Muslims still had highest percentage at 38% vs 17% Christian, so Muslims were more than any other groups. Now the percentage is 65% Muslims vs 27% Christians. Even if they stopped this program now, Muslims will remain the biggest voting bloc.

UMNO wants Muslims to vote for the UMNO only, not other Islamic parties. It doesn't just want a simple majority, it wants all the seats availible and will do anything to get more voters. There are other parties for Malays like People's Justice Party.

The Islamist Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) is opposed to the UMNO and it is part of opposition Pakatan Rakyat, UMNO is scared of Muslims voting for PAS and People's Justice Party, they hand out citizenship to people after they make sure they will vote for UMNO and let them know that its only UMNO giving them citizenship.

The Hadhrami Arabs in Hyderabad even keep their tribal identities and elders, they are communal ethnically. When Ibrahim Yafai was killed in the fight against Akbaruddin Owaisi, Yafai's family rallied the Hadhrami Arab community against Owaisi's MIM party and switched support to the Majlis Bachao Tehreek party. The ones in Indinesia also stick to their clan identities. Their marry their daughters to others within the Hadhrami community and not to outsiders.

Malays in Malaysia never cease fanning hate against Chinese, up to the point of fabricating histories or interpreting histories in the most crazy ways. The Malay hate monger never fail to tell the Malay that Chinese kill Malays and Malays are victim. In the recently demise of communist Chin Peng give Malay one more opportunities to enjoy in their wet dream by remembering one another that Chinese communist kill Malay.

The perpetual themes of Malay rubbishes are Malay are gentle and moderate sitting idly while Chinese conduct exploitation, racism and even killings -- despite the fact that Malays themselves are big bully. The Malay propaganda is getting dangerous close to Nazi lines.

Chinese influx in Malaysia part of

The influx of the Chinese into the Malay archipelago, including Malaysia, had been part of a “southbound invasion” from China towards Southeast Asia called “Nam Tien”, a historian claimed in a symposium today. This “invasion”, backed by foreign Western powers at times, has since stripped the ancient Malay peoples of their riches and knowledge, causing their descendants to be inferior to other races despite being ostensibly one of the oldest civilisations in the world.

“All expertise have been lost with the peoples. Malays are called lazy and not innovative, but it’s because the knowledge, the peoples who have the knowledge have gone extinct,” Zaharah Sulaiman, a writer and historian from a society called Malaysia Archaeology Association, told a thousand-strong audience at the Facing Foreign Agenda Symposium (MEGA) here.

“Foreigners were jealous of us because of what Malays had, the expertise in mining gold and tin. Actually we were the best in it, the earliest in starting everything. “When foreigners came to Tanah Melayu, they grabbed (our riches) and killed Malays, they took over our tin and gold mines. That is being left out in our history,” she added. “Nam tien”, a Vietnamese term literally meaning “South march”, generally refers to a southward expansion of Vietnamese territory from its original heartland in the Red River Delta between the 11th and 18th century. Zaharah was among several Malay Muslims speakers at the symposium on the theme of the “Malay Leadership Crisis”, which is jointly organised by Muslim NGOs, ISMA and Pembina, and is held at the Dewan Seri Siantan here. In the first dialogue session this morning, the symposium discussed five threats against Muslim Malays, which it identified as Shiah teaching, an alleged “invasion” of the Chinese, free trade agreements and the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA), Americanisation, and Christianisation.

Zaharah also blamed Western invaders, particularly the colonial British, for helping these southbound Chinese immigrants grab land from the Malays, and gave as example the alleged award of land in Penang by British trader, Francis Light, to the Chinese. Malays’ riches were then used to financially support the British conquest across the world, and later to fund Dr Sun Yat-Sen’s democratic revolution leading to the formation of the People’s Republic of China, she claimed. The British had also restricted the Malays from attending schools and entering town during colonial times but not the Chinese and Indians, she said, suggesting that the move had caused Malays to be late bloomers and to generally adopt a lackadaisical attitude.

“We were only allowed to go to school in 1925, but only until Standard Four. But Chinese and Indians were allowed to attend schools starting from 1819. The gap was too far,” said Zaharah. She also added that the Chinese had access to wealth much earlier than the Malays, and as such managed to expand their economy at a much faster rate. According to Zaharah, the Cham people who had settled in ancient Champa, is where central Vietnam is located today, were ancient Malays who was then conquered by the Dai Viet who came from South China. Similarly, the Funan Kingdom which is now part of Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam, were also settled by ancient Malays before they were conquered by the Tai people, also from South China. The Tai, Zaharah said, were the ancestors of the Thai people, who had then tried to conquer the Malay people in the Malay peninsula.

Lux de Veritas, “Nam Tien” or March to the South of the Viets had nothing to do with Chinese immigrating to South East Asia. The Viets wanted to escape China´s shadow by expanding her territory to the South, while Chinese (mostly merchants) wanted to escape prosecution from China´s emperors.
