Major technical fault during trials in Tejas

Btw poor reporting, the headline was so loud abt the fault and all the article stated was an undercarriage that was down. What is it supposed to mean. Now that if similar scale journalism was done by india for pakistan thne same indians hopping up and down going defensive would have been celebrating.

Anyways back to point, it is poor reporting also cuz pretty sure there are ton more flaws with the jet that werent discussed in report.

its not "TEJA" its TEJAS meaning radiance........and its on a truck because govt wants the people to see, we have other foreign masala for flying.....this machine flies too and that to better than JF-17

Well that's pretty pathetic reporting TBH.

Undercarriage not retracting can be due to a multitude of problems which don't have anything to do with the aircraft itself.

Faulty maintenance, locking pin not being removed, lax maintenance etc. Or simply a hydraulic failure or FOD...

This article is just stretching it a bit too far...

Tejas is becoming the F-35 of the IAF!

Under carriage down is the new design feature integrated in the Tejas as a standard option package. Just like in a Toyota corolla---you have an L model---then LE---then XLE then and S model---where the base model is L----it is the same way with Tejas---. That was the base model.

If you wanted a model with gear retraction during flight---that is available with a different package and it increase the price---there are many packages available for tejas----.

The really really base model is displayed on a flatbed during a parade. Now if you wanted a flying model---it would cost a lot more and is coming soon on request.

S0---respectable sir----if you really don't know about the doing of Tejas---I would suggest that you may not comment----.

But if my buddy @GURU DUTT says that it is all wrong----I would say Hail to Guru---he is right as always.

I always used 2 think why teja, that is such a weird name for a craft. Nonetheless tejas aint any better either, like ur dhanush, dhruv dhish dhish and stuff.

A nation is known by its economy and by its power index.........and in both u are nothing compared to india....even if tejas failed to become a good plane.....it isn't our best fighter.......and India has so much reserves that we can pay for both rafale and FGFA at the same time........and u can only buy JF-17....
