How many soldiers, civilians, military equipment (tanks, aircrafts, ships) were lost between wars against israel and arabs?

Let's put it this way. For all the loss, there wasn't nearly enough gain after the establishment of that bastard state.

The problems that stem as a direct result of its creation and subsequent immigration policies, have been nothing short of catastrophic to the world at large.

Have fun researching this on your own. The Israelis loved playing down all their losses and the Arabs tended to over exaggerate their gains. You will find pictures from Israeli magazines and news papers showing a Mig-21 being downed over Syria when its clearly an F-4. You will also find claims by the Arabs of shooting down some Israeli aircraft when there's no evidence of such. So basically 67 apart from a few incidents that the Israelis downplayed (completely forgot about apparently) Arab losses were catastrophic. The war of attrition had came out in the end in favour of the Arabs with a few big scalps taken. Mention 73 and the Israelis panic and show you wildly unrealistic numbers and fabricated events while at the same time downplaying their losses because after all they won right?

If you understand Arabic I would recommend these videos. A great representation of how things actually were described by Egyptian pilots. Basically everything you want to know on the Arab side of the war get in touch with Group 73 Historians.

Well on the subject of facing the IAF the Egyptians weren't screwed per say. It depends on which war.

Lets start by the most catastrophic of wars 67. 67 was a result of many years. Firstly, with political troubles in Cairo Nasser appointed those with great loyalty to senior places within the military regardless of their capability, this lead to major strategical blunders as well as major corruption. Secondly, the Yemen. Getting involved in the Yemen was a major drain on resources as well as men. Resources which may have been allocated to air defence systems and aircraft hangars were spent on the Yemen and ill advised programs such as the ballistic missile program which was of little use. The failure of an EW base in Jordan also lead to the EAF being taken by surprise by the Israelis. Nasser as well was a problem, ratcheting up tensions with Israel when the military was in no shape to fight in any branch and the Israelis knew it. All this lead to 67. If the EAF was engaged in the air the war would have been a lot different.

73 was much better for the Egyptians, however, their performance was still hampered by the equipment they had. The Mig-21 was no longer capable of matching the F-4 although there was limited success with it especially in low speed dogfights an example of such is the battle of Almunsurah. The Mig-21 was inferior in regards to its fuel capacity (many migs were lost due to running out of fuel. Israelis claimed some of those as shot down) and so could not stay in the air as long or conduct missions deep into the Sina In some instances pilots had to choose between drop tanks and missiles and some times external guns if the variant they were flying didn't have a built in one. The Mig was also inferior in terms of weaponry, inaccurate missiles were a problem and it didn't carry much gun ammunition. The EAF played a small role in 73 due to the asymmetrical nature of that war as a result of using advanced SAMs to protect the air rather than a conventional face off with the IAF in the air.

This is just a brief outline.

Anything else?

1 Israeli loss = at least 10 losses on Egypt or Syria or Jordan (67 war) losses.

In some cases the ratio was even more horrible when

1 Israeli loss = at least 100 losses on Egypt or Syria or Jordan (67 war) losses.

such was the case of war between a tiny israel vs. mighty Egypt + Brave Syria + Jih@dia Palestinians (+Jordan in 67 only).

Anyone telling you otherwise, is simply trying to pull a fast one on you.

peace

p.s.

War is a the biggest beaach there is. But if you don't study it honestly, then it will be hell for you.

This response doesn't really go with one particular word in your username.....

1 Israeli to 100 Arab ratio?

Yeah ok.

Sounds like BS.

Read my dear Read before showing your ignorance. History is cruel to ignoramuses so please do not be one.

67 war

Total Israeli planes lost 45
Total planes lost by Egyptians Syrians Jordanians = 450

ratio

1 Israeli plane to 10 planes lost by egypt, syria Jordan

Israelis 1000 killed,
total Egyptians+Joradians+Syrians killed = 23500

Ratio 1 to 23.5

Israeli captured = 15
total Egyptians+Joradians+Syrians captured = 5000+500+500 = 6000

Ratio

1 Israeli to 400 Egyptians Syrians Jordanians captured

so you see

Ratio in favor of Israel is at least 1 to 10
but

in some cases it can go as high as 1 to 400 in favor of Israel

peace

Arabs has lost every war against Israel. The only one who managed to stand up against Israel, ironically, was Hezbollah.

Hizbi Mullahs are bunch of Eunichs.

Tell me their wins in open war against Israeli army?

ZERO

Why

Because Hizbis ran like little girls and hid behind women and children

And

you call it "standing up to Israel"?

hahahah

This is what we call murder of military history.

Ayatuallah style

@Surenas link the report..

Show me the main battle field stand by Hizbis against Israeli army.

No fing jokes..

Just serious discussion please
