That would be good thing
Why not choose middle path such projects are responsible for the problems of Pakistan
Punjab is province of 110 million people how many of them are going to benefit with it
Decrease number of cars improve public transport there are sewerage problems in Lahore and all other cities of Punjab but ganja brothers priority was metro type projects
Shahbaz Sharif was most incompetent and corrupt CM of Punjab
Posti Buzdar (under the valiant leadership of Imran Khan) has also done nothing about the sewerage problems of Lahore ---- Walk the Talk.

.
Such type of projects are not needed in Pakistan
These projects are a burden on Pakistan
Typical youthain mentality. Not to forget that biggest hurdle was PTI & Youthains to this project. Otherwise it would've been operational an year & a half ago.

so are roads and railways, our economy can not afford the on going cost on road maintenance, more road means more maintenance cost....we should convert all roads to mud roads and re-introduce Gadha gari.
Gadha Gari (opening ceremony) ka surkh feeta @Brass Knuckles sey katwana..... :enjoy:

Excellent public transport can reduce the need to import cars and fuel. Additionally it can alleviate traffic congestion, which would reduce the need to build more roads.

This is assuming that there were no unnecessary cost overruns, mismanagement, and corruption.

Is it true that the Peshawar bus metro is on hold due to the fact that made the metro doors on the wrong side ?

the buses had doors on the right and metro doors on the left

so instead of changing the buses they are going to change the metro ?

or is this a false rumour ?

.
Yes, you keep voting amongst ethnic lines and keep blaming the rest of the country for your own doings, grow up! As far as revenue is concerned most of the revenue is because of sea port nothing to do with people of Karachi...

I didn't vote on ethnic lines, so take your generalization else where ..

I'm not saying u(personally) haven't tried. I'm saying that the majority of u(Sindh residents) need to vote them out otherwise it would be the same old crap over and over...nothing would change.

Yeah coz we have world class transport system in our cities.
Pakistan needs world class health and education systems which are the basics.
We are so visinary that we already destroyed our circular railway system and tram systems. The land for them grabbed by business/political elites. Now we spending billions again on such system just for sake of keeping corruption/kickbacks/plundering alive.

And also don't miss the part that when people if Karachi didn't vote for that guy in Islamabad, nothing changed. In fact things got worse in Karachi
Look, stuff got done in Karachi when Altaf was powerful because the Sindh government had to essentially pay him off and look the other way (with respect to his criminal activities) - that was not a sustainable model for Karachi. With Altaf gone and the PPP knowing that Karachi isn't a major vote bank for them, the PPP has no incentive to do anything major in Karachi.

It's our misfortune that our politicians, instead of improving things to earn votes, choose to ignore & even punish people that didn't vote for them. The only hope I see is if the PTI manages to take control of Sindh government in the next elections.
