Those RSS goons have no authority to enforce anything. If we cannot protect the simplest fundamental principles of our nation (the rule of law) we might as well call us a failed state.

The real issue in this protest should not be about kissing, but against groups of self proclaimed "moral protectors" and wannabe cops who have absolutely nothing better to do than to form up mobs and attack people and destroy property.

Concerning kissing, much of the statements made by those backward morons are straight out of Victorian era England.... and in fact many laws like the law against homosexuality are from that era. Sexuality was viewed very differently on the Indian subcontinent in ancient times.

It goes both ways, if you want to have rights for yourself then others will also have the right.

That does not give anyone the right to attack people and threaten people. No civilized person can advocate that. Besides, which law does prohibit one from kissing a loved one? The vulgarity in public is defined way to loosely for that.

Only people who do not have girlfriends or are too shy are uncomfortable with PDA. Indian culture had everything in its past. Those others can turn the other way. Why would they tolerate peeing in public and taking dump in the open, which are worse things and hurt/affect other people directly? Others always have the right to turn away when something is happening in a public place. Nobody is coming to your drawing room and kissing while standing between your couch and TV and forcing you to watch things.

Looks, its basic human instinct.. and while public affection has been taboo in the Indian society recently.. perhaps it was not so before.

Then they dont have a right to indulge in lewd behaviour in public which hurts the sensibilities of many families,which is punishable by IPC.
If they want to do it they can do it in private.

likewise the ones whom you want to turn away also have the right to knock some sense into the offenders who are hurting their sensibilities, rights go both ways,It cannot be my rights and sensibilities are haram while yours is halaal/kosher.
