Do u seriously think PAC has better facilities than HAL?

Bo doubt as we have been rebuilding plans (Mirage/F-6/F-7s) .Not kits as HaL is doing ,Secondly we have tech better than HAL as we incorporate many CMC machines from Europe .Third PAC produced plans are selling in Intl Markets. Also JF-17 project it self with no big fuses unlike LCA .

Because if u do,u need head massage to come back to reality

Any time (head Massage),reality is we have Block 1 built operational integrated and block 2 under construction with block 3 in design stage .Actions speaks larger then words.

U have some huge delusions.

The biggest one being that jf-17 is a jv.not one component is pakistani.
If I am wrong just show me one thing which is pakistani in jf-17.

Other than that the mirage roses are 3 rd generation stuff that dosen't count in the discussion.


HAL is a bad organisation compared to international standards but even comparing it to PAC is a waste of time.

What he wants to say is , LCA use so much carbon fiber and has smaller body than JFT which use aluminium and get bigger body . But LCA is only 200 pounds lighter than JFT

If the news is reliable, then..

-It is true that the cost for Rafale is around 20 billion.

I expect something between $15 and 18 billions, but that depends on the ammount of changes we require, on the numbers we will order and on the licence production / ToT costs. All these parts are pretty different to the deal in Brazil and where we won't get reliable insights about the costs at the moment.
The problem in the calculation of the author however is not the cost of Rafale compared to LCA, but that he doesn't look at the capability behind it. We could build several Mig 21 for a single Mirage 2000 too, based on the pure cost calculations, but the Migs were nowhere near to be as capable, let alone to decide a war as the Mirage did at the end. Similarly, we can build several LCAs for a Rafale, but it won't be anywhere close to be as capable. As I often showed, you basically need 3 x LCAs to carry the same weapon load of a single fully loaded Rafale, which triples the procurement and operational costs for the LCA too. Here the author also made a mistake by calculating with LCAs flyaway cost ($25 to 30 millions), while taking the system costs for Rafale. The flyaway cost of Rafale in Brazil was said to be around $85 millions x 126 for IAF = $10.710 billions.

Are you sure thats why F-35 has DSI where F-22 doesnt, and by your logic F-22 will have a larger RCS than F-35, which is not the case. And if you know that much , pls let me know which is easier to design, DSI or S-DUCT?

No he isn't he simply don't understand that feature, nor what it is used for, so don't bother too much about his statements on that.

Rafale do not have AESA too.

In Aero India 2011, Russia had demonstrated MIG 35 with AESA. It should not be too far.

That's nonsense! Rafale has AESA radar operational in service and came to India with AESA radar for the MMRCA trials. The Mig AESA demonstrator was shown only in Russia, while Mikoyan was only able to send modified Mig 29Ks to India to do the trials, by the simple fact that there is no real Mig 35 prototype available till now. Same reason why Saab send Gripen C/Ds to do the trials and while the Gripen NG (also not a real prototype of the version they offered to us) came only a month later and did only a small part of the required trials.
The fact that even the Russians now just ordered 16 x Mig 29SMTs and not new Mig 35s, basically to keep the production line of the Migs open to hope that any export country would go for the Mig 35 later tells much about the hope on that fighter.

Whatever LCA II has taken steps forward but instead of wasting 40m each on Mirage 2000, hindustan should spend it on LCA II and let the M-2000 live say 12-14 years as it is.

And leaving IAF for the next 6 to 8 years with MKIs only? The first upgraded M2K will be added by this year, while the first LCA MK2 will only be inducted around 2020? Doesn't make much sense, especially when we are talking about one of IAFs most capable and important fighters.

Improved in avionics and armament. Only Block 3 would improve on engine with WS-13A.
That is already present in LCA -MK-1 ....... So your JF-BL2 will have things which will be already present in MK-1 LCA... .....and so LCA is one BK ahead then JF

Jf-17 is a potent fighter So is Lca Tejas Every plane have there advantages and disadvantages.the correct Measures will be in War Scenario or in War games

That is already present in LCA -MK-1 ....... So your JF-BL2 will have things which will be already present in MK-1 LCA... .....and so LCA is one BK ahead then JF
But Jf-17 have proper testing facilities and Have Expert Aircraft Building Experience Of the Chinese Whereas in Lca Hal have to take all workload thus It Makes Induction Process Slow

Sick of this comparison between Pak and India. It is like people want to feel better by comparing to something inferior.

Guys compare with best in Industry and let both countries make some world class products to boast of.
