How about Argentina, Sirilanka's presentation and how do you know that EW suits aren't on par with Astra mirage f-1, do you know what EW and other hardware are not comparable to modern system and do you know what is the technical specifications of EW/ other harware in JF-17 @GIANTsasquatch

Watched it but not sure how ur making this statement or guessing , nothing in the program unless I missed it

Previous statements /news had 12 additional block 2 slotted for 2018 , add two block 2 b model that’s total of 14 enough to raise a new sqn, 16-18 is typical number though

You mean the EW suite made by the Spanish firm Indra? The same firm which the Spanish want to make the EW suite for there own F-18s? It does hurt indeed.

Per the latest paf program on sep 7 covering 14 sqn, now there are 7 jf sqn in paf so a new one is currently in progress somewhere ??

16,14,2,26, 28, ccs and XX sqn ?? Anyone has news which sqn is being converted ?? Guess it’s 18

This also means mirage and jf are the backbone of paf now with 7 sqn each followed by f-16 with 4

Max takeoff weight 13500 kg

Surprisingly wing span is listed at 9.46 m vs original 8.5 w/o wingtip missile and 9m with wingtip missile fins

It was announced by cac during B model first flight that wingspan increased from 8.5 to 9.46 m but this is way before that so confusing anyway now it’s 9.46 m and not 8.5 or 9 m

Nothing in it relates to Pakistan or JF-17. Only "interesting" bits were they are upgrading their AH-1Fs with new everything to serve for another 20 years and have sold a couple of surplus ones to the Philippines and have also put up their Super Pumas for sale due to obsolete mission computers. Also how great the new PC-21 trainer is (upto 8Gs!) but I think everyone understands that already

The programs in Pakistan are usually in case of defense equipment are worthless mostly as every one knows that a fighter jet has on engine, wings, gun , hard points etc. But the point is that perhaps it is done intentionally to keep gadgets secret especially related to EW/ECM capabilities, Missiles installed, radar technical specs. Only programs are there to show off capability and give some confidense to nation but not technical specs.
