What's new

Lahore's redemption: Lahore dictrict administration refuse permission for Aurat March.

The march is counterproductive. Women go to these marches and come home to domestic abuse for participation in the march. It's a shame that society has dedicated just 1 day to protest the abuse dished out year round.

How will the US embassy react? Isn't the US embassy the main sponsor of such events?

Notice how quickly Amnesty shared this tweet. There have been dozens of human rights violations in the past months. I haven't seen a single tweet from Amnesty international.
They have their agendas bro, it's never about caring for our lives.

Aurat March uses the excuse of women's safety to slip it's foot in the door to break the family structure, spread LGBT ideology, and eventually "sexual liberation" and stand against modesty.

Overall it's meant to spread degeneracy at its core.

We need to create an indigenous movement that advocates for women's rights based on real problems they face in according to Islam. This movement should overpower aurat march.

THIS.

@Maula Jatt , these are vested interests, aiming to impose the western brand of degeneracy and moreso to have their loyal fifth columnists.
There is no denying the myriad of problems faced by women in Pakistan, but this is not the solution. I also despise the JI "Haya March", which is just theatrics to counter to aurat march and not to bring any meaningful change. If they had done anything in that regard, and implemented the islamic rights of women that they tout, there's wouldn't be an aurat march.

This is no redemption- Pakistan needs a feminist movement, our women are suffering, socially, economically, and politically, to be born a woman in Pakistan is equal to living like an african american man in 1920s America
yes aurat march was a bit off- but so what? - is the government doing anything for the welfare of 50% of our population? who is going to step up? anyone?

most likely no one- you are suppressing one of the few avenues where women are organizing themselves for their rights which is reprehensible to say the least

file charges against those with controversial signs but an outright ban is messed up

Pakistan needs a Pakistani feminist movement to ensure Pakistani and Muslim women get their rights and are protected, this is VITAL

However what they don't need is a group/organisation pushing LGBTQ and western debauchery under the guise of women's rights

I felt this a few years ago,, that they aurat march clowns were doing a MASSIVE DISERVICE to Pakistani women because rather then protect their rights, they were confusing the issue with liberal LGBT and sexual freedom nonsense and creating a backlash where things that Pakistani women needed like workplace protection and regulation, protection from sexual harassment etc were buried

Stop trolling, didn't you just divorce your wife because she had searched up an actor's name? 😂
I admire @SHAH BAAZ , for going with the long con. He still hasn't broken character. Definitely not an Indian, because they are never this good.

Need to look into it with this aspect as well, the gender equality and this is related somehow.

Sex education was not a topic of major concern before the sexual revolution began in the United States and Europe. The abandonment of traditional constraints on sexual behavior gave birth to the terms “free love” and “free sex.” The underlying expectation was that greater sexual freedom would lead to greater happiness. However, the sexual revolution has brought an avalanche of social and health problems.

The psychological and emotional scars resulting from uncommitted sexual relationships precipitate anxiety, low self-esteem, suicidal tendencies, divorce, and family breakdown. Sexually transmitted diseases, including AIDS, and unwanted pregnancies raise concerns about public health and welfare.

divorce, and family breakdown.

Divorce and family breakdown rose to 50% in UK and West, after this 'nothing should be hidden and must be in the open, and that it's hypocrisiy to hide sex desire and need to do it in the open', movement. The free sex and free love movement.

Are divorce rates declining UK?

It has often been said that 50% of marriages end in divorce. However, if you look at the past few years and decades of statistics, you can see the divorce rate is slowly decreasing. Some of the current trends include: As of 2021, the average divorce rate in the UK is 42%.

Pakistanis are so much worry if women get any right .

Women should absolutely get rights. Especially in Pakistan. They should be allowed to work and contribute to the economy etc. Just not American and Western sponsored rights. Do you want feminists to run around telling the society what gender we are? Western feminism is toxic. It is against family values. Western feminism is hijacked by a bunch of aunties who never got a chance to marry and raise kids. Sour grapes. It is no secret that aurat march is coordinated from the US embassy.

It's slightly decreasing because people are not getting married

Marriage in the west is now a legal trap for men

Beyond religious reasons, only a IDIOT in the west would get married and suddenly open themselves up to loaded legal ramifications when they can just have a relationship, children without any societal pressure

I don't think even feminists predicted the down stream consequences of some of the things that they were pushing

And we in Pakistan, other Muslim countries, traditional countries across the world need to be very very careful about how much do we tolerate
We need a women's movement but we cannot tolerate going down the same debauched path as the west

Coming this time with extra flavor. Last time there was some pro-LGBT stuff. This time they are going full-throttle, with the trannies and all.
Expect this stuff as well

@Maula Jatt , your heart's in the right place, but I hope you can see why almost everyone (except @Imran Khan sb ) has reservations on this.

OTOH, you could list the positive changes have been brought into ordinary Pakistani women's lives due to aurat march. All they have achieved is sowed the seeds for yet another battlefront for our religious nutters. Some we already had enough of.

How much of the USD200m by NED for "gender equality" do you think will go to providing empowering women regarding employement opportunities and domestic abuse prevention and how much for this LGBT shit?

This is a country where families going to PTI jalsas are met with "nachan walian de bachay azaadi di jang ni lar sakde" and you think this shit will help women's plight? The shit that goes on in universities etc has parents worried and not sending their daughters away even for studying. Tell me, how does that serve the ordinary women's cause.

@Olympus81 @Bleek , funny thing. Should they call themselves aurat march if they are including trannies? Aren't they assuming or restricting those trannies gender?
