The Germans didn't do anything to stop what was happening to the Jews. They watched as they lost their money, possessions and finally, their lives. The Turks still continue to deny the genocide. There are still thousands of crimes going on today which go on with no one saying anything. Anyways, how do you respond to a terrorist organisation? Tell me that. You want to protest? Protests don't do anything against terrorists. Do you want to write on the internet? Writing on the internet won't do anything. What do you want Muslims to do?

However, the complete lack of protest is what astonishes me. I supported Israel in the beginning, but a month long conflict when they are just bombing around the place is completely unjustified. The international pressure did help with the ceasefire being called, some respite to the poor souls.

There are many things protests can do but which is absent completely in this case. I support Gazans now but then why are the people silent on IS? Just because their ideology is right?

Can I ask you one thing? When Kony was kidnapping thousands of kids to become his sex-slaves and soldiers, how many protesters did you see in Central Africa? Does that mean people support him? Does that mean people agreed with his ideals?

I've already shown I'm not supportive of protests. I think they're unnecessary and unproductive. Why are you asking me why other people protest? You're the one whose "appalled by the lack of protests". What is so important about these protests that make you appalled by the lack of them over the current issue?

And I am not talking about Pakistanis in general, though thier lack of silence in this case is sad compared to the frenzy about the Gaza conflict.

I have given the reasons before, do read my posts again.. It shows the hypocrisy displayed whereas in one scenario so much protest and in another one silence.

No one supports what ISIS are doing to the Yazidi's or other minorities.

And most would like ISIS crushed but why would we protest unless it got really bad...

You are wrong in saying that Indians like it because Muslims are getting killed, it's about terrorism.. Hamas indeed has used human tragedy to its advantage, firing rockets from densely populated areas.. Israel was right to defend itself up to a certain extent but it seems they are bent on going on and on, without caring for the attacks which also kill innocents..

Because those are also Arabs of a different religion, of the same land.. Just because they do not follow your religion does not mean you should not protest. And to bring peace to the ME all the countries have to come together and solve the issue, take action collectively rather than give chance to US or other countries...

After having seen some videos of ISIS, I think they're just a ragtag group of idiots seeking glory. Most of the videos include shitty Arab background music, and losers you can find on any street corner in Arab countries trying to play the part of Islamic desperadoes. The Kurds, despite their smaller numbers, will annihilate them.
