How ? Make a poll here u majority will tell u this is common in Pakistan. Happens in every school, mudarrasa , street etc. Difference here is they made movies and used to blackmail and earn money.

We as Nation dont care as long its not me who is effected and we start to talk and make fun of victims.

Hardly surprising and truky deserving... Every victims family points the finger that police were involved with them as they discouraged the filing of complaint and even send videos of those that came to complain so that the culprits can shut them up.

Now he comes, stands on a pedestal and makes a political speech while the families with their abused children have been asking for justice. He doesn't even meet them nor questions them so justified .... Only by doing this will these people on comfy swats understand that the people are getting tired of the police and their corrupt ways... Its a country where the people equate the police with criminals and I frankly can't say that they don't deserve it... The people are justified in their hate for the police. The entire police force all over Pakistan needs massive change....

During musharraf era I remember that he placed retired brigadiers and colonels on top of every areas police to keep an eye on them.. I remember a police officer telling me that army comes and raids them without notice and audits them thus they have to be quick and vigilant.... Not saying the solution is martial law but some form of danda is needed to keep the police in line...

It is unfortunate that the voice of illiterate villagers counts for so little. They have been suffering the rape of their kids for an extremely long period of time. We should praise the media for raising the problem of their plight. The medias job is to present the wrongs and evils in society so that more affluent members or politicians can come forth to correct them.

As for the culprits, the perpetraters they should severely be punished. One of the videos there is a guy saying I will not stop till you smile, this is clear sexual grooming for young kids. These assholes should be hung upside down and tortured like dogs before they are killed. These gay people and child abusers I am sorry to say are assholes everywhere they go. They will rape you and make fake videos, they will try to rape innocent people and worst of all hide among those that are not gay. This is the biggest problem which makes it hard to detect them. They can be your best friend. Makes me feel sick.

Even in Afghanistan. There is a thing called Bachay bazi in their culture, though thankfully it has not spread to that extent in our country, including Peshawar.

The incompetencies of the Pakistani Police Force is a topic one could write a few books on. It starts with the selection process, bribes for promotions & postings, all the way to the top. Rotten to the core.
