You are one of the few people who has identified the term terrorism as separate from "Jihad". Perhaps you should go a step further, what is "jihad" in its various meanings? What is its basic etymology?

....let's say, everyone who are not associated with terrorism, knows the difference.......actually, they know the difference, that's why they are not engaged in terrorism in the name of Jihad......i.e, you can assume that, those who are not engaged in terrorism, know the difference to some extent......and you're suggesting one such person to learn the difference more 'deeply'.....what difference would it make?.......would it decrease terrorism?.....
Instead, you should make the effort to make them understand the difference, who unknowingly and/or intentionally twist the meaning of 'Jihad' to continue their own agenda of spreading terrorism.........that would make a difference.....
