JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 7]

Only if the JF17 was 25% larger in size---there were so many goodies that could have been installed on it---that it would have wreaked havoc on the enemy---and would have been second to none other than the 5th gen aircraft---.

-.

A bigger bird will not be Thunder anymore rather a whole new package. We have come a long way and now are rightly aligned to adopt natural course of science for our progress from smaller scale to medium & if needed, larger side.
.
Exactly, it could have been the size aka small RCS that might have played the decisive role in the BVR fight over the mountains. Its essentially a twin edged sword.

Yes ... it shows some Indian guys holding a piece of an AMRAAM.
And you call this a clear proof that a MKI was shot-down?
Its evidence of penetration and not a shot-down.

That was neither the question nor the point. Fact is you claimed there is a downed MKI, shot down by a Thunder and as proof you post a piece of an AIM-120 ... so what?? I say, it is a piece of an AMRAAM, at best hint that a F-16 was used but it is in NO WAY proof for a MKI being downed by a JF-17.

Not sure if I follow a different logic....

And this again has no relevance as proof for a downed MKI???

You cannot or you don't want to argue ... don't you? :hitwall:

FCS designed for prototype FC1 was in keeping with the idea of simple, lean but effective, simpler than F16. Now this may not be the case for evolving FC1 block3. It is likely FCS for thunder is going to be as complicated as falcon. Source: CADI review march 2019. @Deino

Hi,

Well---they are showing a piece of aamram------.

So---if the Aamram has 80% kill ratio then there is an 80% chance of SU 30 being bit---if it has a 70% chance of kill ratio---the it is 70%---.
