First of all Egypt are using Pakistan / China manufacture K-8 training plane. 2nd L15 is advance training plane whereas JF17 is 4+ gen fighter plane so you can't compare training plane with multiroler fighter plane.
Pakistan training in Air force is one of the best in the world and we are one of the world leaders in terms of training and no. of planes can't give you grantee to produce world class fighters, try this made in Pakistan baby

Pakistan made trainer planes (174 in nos) in Egypt and production line of K-8

JF-17 Thunder has completed 13,500 sorties (45 mint per sortie) as of june 2014 and 45+ JF-17 Fighters have been produced from 2010 to 2015 for the Pakistani Airforce and currently PAF operates total 50× JF-17 Thunder Block-1 fighters.It might be possible first 5× Block-2 fighters will be delivered to PAF within a month.

49 in service. One was crashed in 2011 as you know. No news regarding replacement.
