Keep watching this place for any news. History proves that all news about JF-17 usually comes out of the blue and unexpectedly.

There was never perpetual smoke. It only puts out smoke at some conditions. Probably most in transient conditions when the engine spools up in response to a throttle command.

It is a fighter jet not an iPhone. You can't have an upgraded model every year. That's how long it takes. Look at Tejas and look at JF-17. Despite limited resources and fewer partners, we are able to modernise much quicker.

App 800 million for 42-50 jf17 vs 699 million for 8 f16 block 52 since two transactions are far apart 2008 vs 2016 so there may be difference but still 42 vs 8 !!!!
