Its 23mm dual barrel gun mount.

I am not expert, wouldn't it accidentally hit the nose or body side from the gun mount?

Where is refueling probe ? :undecided:

Oh shit, we have been discussed 200 times here, you probably missed it.

Once JF-17 BLOCK 2 will currently develop another 50 jets, then it will develop refueling probe likely next year or December this year.

If fired during climb, it may actually hit the pilots

That wasn't the case with Israel, furthermore what if Pakistan manages to create a different version of the systems integrated in the future JF-17, and get it verified?, and then integrate it into the then "older" planes of our F-16 fleet. Will that work?.
You are not Israel, not even Turkey with the second largest F-16 maintenance setup can do anything without Lockheed Martin's approval.

JF-17 test-flies with a Chinese turbofan

Chinese officials say flight-testing of an indigenous engine for the JF-17 is under way
They also confirmed the Sino-Pakistani-developed aircraft has an international sale

Chinese officials have confirmed that a new indigenous engine is being flight tested for the JF-17, seen here at the Paris Air Show on 15 June.
IHS/Patrick Allen: 1654768
A senior Chinese aviation official has revealed that the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation FC-1/JF-17 fighter co-developed with Pakistan has been test-flown with a new Chinese medium-thrust turbofan engine.

Li Yuhai, an executive vice president with the Aviation Industries Corporation of China (AVIC), told IHS Jane’s that a new Chinese turbofan for the JF-17 has completed “lab tests” and “flight testing is in progress”. He said the new engine would have a thrust slightly greater than the 8.7-ton thrust of the JF-17’s current Klimov RD-93 turbofan.

At a joint Sino-Pakistani press conference on 15 June Li said progress was also being made on the twin-seat JF-17.

Pakistani sources at Paris confirmed a JF-17 has been flying with the new Chinese turbofan, which could be revealed publicly “very soon”. There is a suggestion the engine could be named ‘WS-17’ to complement the JF-17, but officials provided no further performance indicators.

A Pakistani official also confirmed that the first export contract for the JF-17 has been signed. The official would only say the contract had been signed in the first half of 2015 and would not name the customer.

Pakistani officials say they are having “serious” discussions with 11 countries, including Argentina, which a source confirmed is interested in coproducing the JF-17.

1) The speed of the bullets is too high and thus before the aircraft could manoeuvre itself in the way the bullet shall have left the aircraft far behind. So no the bullets cannot hit their own aircraft.

2) Reportedly the IFR will be introduced from the 27th Blck II onwards and will then also be integrated with the older birds.

Joking right? :enjoy:

He made a funny. You fire the bullet while vertical, the bullet goes up, you go up, the bullet comes down, the bullet hits you.

reference
In January 2015 one FC-1 prototype ([HASHTAG]#0213[/HASHTAG]) was seen testing a new environmental control system for the high temperature/high humidity environment, presumably at the request of potential customers from Africa, South Asia or South America. It was reported in April 2015 that Argentine Air Force has been negotiating to order a number of JF-17 Block IIs but no further information is available. Recent news (June 2015) suggested that the FC-1 #05 prototype is being converted to the JF-17B trainer configuration. The latest news (June 2015) claimed that FC-1 just secured its first export contract from an unknown Asian customer (Myanmar?). The contract could involve an initial batch of 12-14 aircraft and the delivery might start in 2016.
