From my knowledge jf-17s are not equiped for jamming; that is where falcons are for.

They are outfitted with KG600/ RKL-700A SPJs.

A-Darter seems old story now. WVR not that critical, PL-10 is an equivalent. Next step is to just refine and incrementally improve the Block 3 just as Block 1 was refined into Block 2.

If Denel offers high degree TOT then PAF will 100% go for A-Darter. Jeff will be coming with HOBS capability.

Block 3 already has HOBS capability. Pak has better things to do than reinvent the wheel... just my 0.02. I could be wrong. Perhaps another perspective could be to get critical technology transfer so Pak can make IR seekers at home.

The issue isn't the AAM, the PAF can choose from A-Darter, PL-10, and even IRIS-T if it wants. The real problem is the lack of available HMD/S.

Best is to join the program we have with Brazil as a partner. No need to do a TOT but participate and build.

It depends on hmds solution. A-darter vs PL-10 it is a no brainer; pl-10 is a generation or two behind.
