Everone disappointed from b3 should thank each and every keyboard warrior here.
Those who have no reliable sources kept mouthfarting and everyone was like wao its gonna be a fifth gen a/c.

Far from 5th Gen. Wait till you see the operating cost, having it cheap has its cons. Makes the Viper look like a tuk tuk.

The FBW system has been redone. That means how the controls respond will need fresh calibrations ... hence changes under the skin is considerable. Could be more use of composite material to bring the empty weight further down. All these may result in different center of gravity/mass. Hence a new prototype required to validate and tweak the changes made.

All the experts here, who had initially began advocating that Block-III might be a two sitter like the Thunder Bravo ... and then of late they started to opine that the tail will be like the bravo ... must have been disappointed.

I had lot of expectations from this block 3 as most of fanboys. Been quite deceived.
But I’m not the pilot who will sat in it and fight our enemies. So if this block 3 is at par or above PAF’s expectations, then who I am to say oh noooo. I’m just a fanboy so oh nooooo.

Whatever is this block 3, I pray Allah for safety of our pilots and their success in any missions they will be tasked to make more Abhinandan.

PAF committed made a sinful error in marketing the Thunder by calling it a very potent cheaper solution. The term cheap and it's variations should not have been used. Instead the term "Cost Effective" should have been coined.
