Jan Lokpal: Hindu-Muslim war over Anna Hazare fast?

New Delhi, Aug 22: Anna Hazare started his fast-unto-death protest to get a strong Jan Lokpal Bill which will help people to see corruption free India. But with a latest statement from the Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid in Delhi, it seems that the nation might face a religious fight (Hindu-Muslims) over Anna's movement.

Pointing at Anna's signature tune - "Vande Mataram", "Bharat Mata Ki Jay", which have been echoing in the Ramlila Maidan since Anna grabbed the central stage at the place, the Imam, Syed Ahmed Bukhari asked all Muslims to stay away from Anna's fast venue.

"Islam does not condone the worship of the nation or land. It does not even condone worship of the mother who nurtures a child in her womb for nine months," stated Bukhari.

Continuing his statement, the Imam also claimed, "How can Muslims then join his stir with a war cry that is against the basic tenets of their religion?"

However, no further reports or reactions have come on the statement on Bukhari. Anna started his mission for the whole nation and not for a religious group.

You and your organization cannot Fu*ck away 20% minorities from India.
If you say by Chanting Vande matram and Bharat mata ki Jai one becomes Patriot..........I pity on you.

You conveniently forgot to mention SC/ST leaders saying to stay out of movement as its Manu Vadi movement .

If only you'd realize that elimination of corruption is going to benefit everyone alike. The affected middle and lower class are not differentiated by religion.Neither does bribery come with reservations. No one is attacking any religion with this and lets keepit away from the issue.
