A Pakistani politician will never be with a party that is a sinking ship, to them PTI is a sinking ship, they don't want to go jails, have their assets frozen. Nawaz Sharif has billions so he can always bail his MNAs out, if he doesn't they will leave Nawaz Sharif and Zardari too.

You are correct about what I, and I bet, many Pakistanis had been saying to Imran Khan: Bide your time! You can see my posts on or around the NCM votes in April 2022. I think I had repeatedly said that losing the NCM was not a big thing and that Imran should let the PDM people fall on their own sword--I think my words were 'fall on their own sword'.

But I had under-estimated Imran's dumbness then and now nothing surprises me about this idiot!

Imran had a near parity in the National Assembly and Senate after April 2022 NCM. He would have control of two large Provincial Assemblies. He had many sympathizers in the military and the media. He should not have thrown out the NCM!! So what if he lost that? Sky was not going to fall on his head!! He would have held the higher moral ground by being a 'democrat'.

His list of stupidities is long and the topmost being, instead of targeting the PDM, he went after the Establishment. That fight not only he could NEVER win but was also not needed. People close to him tried to stop him but he is a dumb-a$$ and was too self-assured.

Sane advice was beyond this intellectual-dwarf, ego-maniac guy!! Look at whom he surrounded himself with? A person is known by the company he keeps! Do people like Farah Gogi look like some decent people?? While I don't consider selling a State gift like a wrist-watch as criminal, is it worthy of the leader who repeats Quranic verses and wants to build a Riyasat e Medina??

In short, I am glad I stopped supporting him overnight after Imran rejected the NCM. Pakistan comes first! I am glad I had made the right call then!! And I ask you to look closely at this charlatan and his behavior and think of your country first.

Again selective post. You forget to take PMLN name as well. How Nawaz was brought in to clean PPP from Punjab.

They are gathering them to cut down PTI votes especially in Punjab. This is ideal situation for PMLN now. PMLN has a thin vote bank but with PTI, all over the place, it should be good enough to win most of the Punjab seats now. Same arrangement is being done in Karachi.

Honestly, it's easy to declare all these people sellouts and shame them when none of us personally have been put in the vice that many of these folks were put in. What has anyone sitting in the UK/US/Gulf lost while egging folks on to a bloody revolution?

We lose every single day.

An unstable, under developed Pakistan is an economic drain on us for a start. Nearly everyone has family back home who they are then having to support. Whilst most people in the countries we live in have 1 family to raise, overseas Pakistanis have 2.

Also most overseas Pakistani's aspire to move back to Pakistan at some point in their lives. Thats why they invest there and build homes there. Our hard earned investment is going to pot whilst the country turns to North Korea.

They joined PTI because:

1. Army forced them to back in 2018 (I can show you proof).
2. PMLN + PPP had sunk to new lows. Their party tickets meant squat.
3. PTI was the only political laundry in business. What choice did they have?
4. Most people here are super gullible and naive, unfortunately.

So, why the surprised Pickachu face? History has a tendency to repeat itself.

And frankly, I'm not the least bit surprised. Imran Khan could've patiently waited for the next general election. But instead, he chose to spew unhinged political rhetoric, blaming his old mentors, from Supreme Court's chief justices to that 'certain' high-ranking army official slash king maker who gave him the 'throne' on a silver platter back in 2018.

TL;DR Imran Khan betrayed his mentors. Now his mentees have betrayed him. Classic tit for tat situation, as far as I'm concerned.
