I dont know anything about this JF-18 thing..i dunno whether its real or not but i know details of FC-31v2 and are accurate to much extent .They are :
○ WS-13E engine with supercruise
○ CFTs
○ EOTS
○ Cut wing tips
○ 1metre increase in length
○ Broadened weapons bay to accumulate more HPs
○6 internal HP
○4 external HP
○J-20 like tail
○Thinner design than v1
○Hopefully Baked-in fibre stealth
○Silver stealthy nozzles

i am saying there is a possibility that incase of emergency FC-20 and possibly may come...but there is 0% chance

FC20 is export version of J10A which is not capable enough, the J10C/D are capable variants and in case of war scenrio perhaps PAF will look for them rather than Fc20. Meanwhile Su35 deal is perhaps dead after current billions of dollars defense deals between India and Russia.

Is the j31 gonna be procured directly or with tot and if tot will Pakistan manufacture the components such as engine,radar locally.

IT will be But will take time as JFT...First 50 were made in China then Assembly line shifted in Pakistan.

most probably with tot but dunno about this production of radar and all locally. Thats called license production but tot means u get kits and what u just have to do is assemble the jet.

yes i meant B/C as currently they both arent for export. Su35 was never even talked...PAF isnt foolish to induct a headache platform for maintainence. But you maybe wrong on that point of multi billion dollar deal. India needs russia very badly and russia knows it. so whatever deal russia does with pak wont affect indian defence imports from russia.

J20 would be a pragmatic choice, Budgetary constrains aside j31 would face the similar range ot Mig29's.

Disagree, the aircraft is completely irrelevant to our needs. We dont need 1000km range, we need 500km penetration and as such almost all of our jets offer that. Neither side is looking for total destruction and frankly have enough nuclear systems for that. The idea is to stop advancements into territory, and for that 500km is more than sufficient.

not more than $60m...J-20 is not our requirement. We never even thought of it. J-31 is stealth F-16 i would call it. The bubble canopy is loved by our pilots.

The fight is already in Indian airspace, because our OCA capabilities are now 50% at standoff munitions that add at the least 50km-60km safe radius out to 250km. So reaching deeper targets is irrelevant unless those targets directly effect the front. In case of war, some 60-70% of Indian air assets(including airbases) are still within range of OCA operations.. So unless there is a specific need to hit something all the way out in the east which is specifically critical to halting all offensive operations by India; I dont see a need.
