Death to the (Anti)'Islamic' state. It makes my blood boil to see that these people associate themselves with Islam.
As to every non -Muslim who believes that ISIS are following Islamic teachings, it is absolutely clear in the Quran that there is no compulsion in religion. It is also absolutely clear that physically harming someone who hasn't done the same to you is forbidden and wrong, no matter who or what they worship or believe in.
It is also absolutely clear that you must treat your prisoners humanely. Thus, ISIS is disobeying most of Islam's absolute laws. If you want more explanation read @
Akheilos's post #101.
ISIS is cherrypicking parts of Islam to try and justify their barbarism. I could do the same with Christianity or Hinduism or the Constitution of America if I wanted to. They targeted Islam because right now Muslims are more likely to join them because It is mostly Muslims suffering from wars and geopolitics. It is mostly Muslim countries involved in this kind of mess. It's not because of Islam, it's because of politics. Unfortunately Muslims are vulnerable to radicalization.
It's also about people themselves. If you are a really violent person, your Islam will be violent, your Christianity will be violent, your Buddhism will be violent, doesn't matter - If you are more violent than you are religious, you will use parts of religion to try to justify your unjustifiable acts.
However, people who join ISIS in a misguided attempt to become better Muslims or something are either really stupid or really psychopathic who just want to kill people and don't care about Islam. That problem needs to be dealt with. Muslims need to deal with that problem - this 'radicalization' needs to be stopped.
