There's a misleading thread created by an Indian poster that reads "Chinese thinks Indians are backwards".
It is misleading because only a small minority think so. The reality is that MOST Chinese people do NOT think India is a backwards place.
Don't let the opinions on this forum misguide you. Most people come here as a mental vacation from their unhappy(?) lives. It's almost becomes a ritual here to play on each other's emotions and insecurities.
Simple fact is this:
"Chinese thinks India is backwards" is BLATANTLY FALSE because most thoughts about India from most Asians (Chinese included) are positive (Buddhism, Spirituality, Yoga, Vegetarianism, Gurus, Gandhi, etc).
However we may tease each other here, when we meet in person it's a different story. It's just the few of us here that have gotten to know each other beyond the stereotypes that we are able to poke fun of each other. Please don't take it personal.
India is a large and dynamic place. A country with such diversity cannot be adequately confined to a any one person's biased perceptions. If India is backwards then China is backwards, and if China is backwards then all of the world is backwards. Yes, we are all backwards in some aspects as we are all imperfect.
