I can agree with that, right up to the point that this "normal" may not work for you any more. Everyone is entitled to their own personal journey of discovery and enlightenment. I remember that. Left a bad taste in the mouth. That's when doubts started creeping in.

My father was a fervent IK hater, often used to swear at him. He didn't support any of the chors. Just hated IK. Loved the army. We are a military family. He was the only one in my family's 3 previous generations who wasn't in the army.

But when he saw that speech, he flipped out. Almost swore are bajwa while fasting.
It was a pleasant surprise for me.

Needless to say, the spell has been broken and he is a believer now lol.

Problem is now anything related with the Army is so toxic that even good things are easily overlooked. This is the issue you will have on social media as well, something innocent or traditional will turn into finger pointing of treachery, thuggery, corrupt practises which the leadership have been involved in. No amount of IK rhetoric was needed for that, the army scored a bunch of own goals all by themselves.
