righteous
Why thank you for asking and I'd be delighted to help you understand.
This forum has many members who are bigots, in particular they are religious bigots and in particular, their method is to highlight grievances and to present these as civilizational grievances. Take the instance of the photo presented in the lead of the thread - note that it is not a vandal and a woman, these two characters in the scene are presented primarily as two religions with one uncivil to the other.
This was therefore an attempt to generate a emotional response from people who know nothing other than what the person who posted the photo said it meant.
You will note my comment about the poster being sad, about me being sad and about all of us being sad - why? because as you note the responses you will note the emotional responses to scene, about which you know nothing other than what the poster whats you know. You may enjoy that kind of manipulation, I think it's, well.., sad.
After all, you will have realized if you do the search and I hope you will show the courage of conviction to do so, of how many masajid were attacked, how many terror attacks, how many sectarian attacks, and just in Pakistan, and just during Ramazan -- and I would then invite you to consider whether allowing someone to play with your emotions to generate even more hatred is what you want to allow to be done to you.
And just between you and me, these Pakrabs rub me the wrong way.
Brilliant response. This is probably the best post I have read on here.
Outstanding.
Even so the wine throwing picture is irritating, and I'm Hindu (well sort of, anyway). That vandal should be given a swift kick in the pants.
