ISLAMIC CENTER IN KARACHI TURNED INTO CINEMA

. . .
I'll provide it once you have given me your errornous opinion. I remind you what you wrote and we're still waiting for your answer.

Yes, please tell the ayat where Allah orders us what you claim.

.
According to the article there was a masjid attached to the center....Not sure if they are confused with a surau or a masjid..

I don't think this was a mosque, as it was owned by the city, and not waqf. The reporter, as usual, may not know the difference between a proper mosque and a musalla. Such miscommunication is often how things get out of control.

Btw, I was surprised you used "Surau". Were you in Malaysia?

.
Where does say in the Quran there is a such a thing as an Agnostic''Muslim''?
I didn't make that claim did I, and I'm not passing laws and forcing other people into accepting my religious views either, like these 'respect for Masjid aka Mullah Kabza Mafia' supporters want.

So, if you're done with disingenuous deflections, where in the Quran does it command these actions in terms of respect for the Masjid?

But it's fine because it's just a building right?
Outside of the structure having historical or landmark value (such as the Badshahi mosque or Faisal Mosque), why shouldn't it be fine to covert a Masjid to alternate use?

Afterall, are you worshipping the Masjid or worshipping Allah?

This 'respect for Masjid' stuff is turning into something akin to idol worship.

I'm waiting for @Syed.Ali.Haider to respond with an alternative opinion. If he openly tells us he made a statement emotionally then all is forgiven and I'll post you evidences.

I would say the distance we have created to Islam. Plus, our Islamic scholars for the most part not very educated. Kind of 'fatwa' machines.
We've created distance from Islam because we focus too much on ritual and useless things like 'respect for Masjid, How to treat ripped pages or copies of the Quran, intolerance towards criticism of Islam and the Prophet, what hand to wipe our arse with, whether Rice Crispie treats and marshmallows are hallal, beards, coeducation, fahashi etc etc

Faith is meant to be for spiritual guidance, something that positively guides our behavior towards others, towards the world around us - suggests ways to treat The world around us and those in It with respect and compassion. It is not meant to be something that we use to force others to accept our beliefs.

I am not SAH... It's a simple question, where in the Quran does it state that a Masjid cannot be repurposed?

Respect of a mosque is gesture of ibadah' itself. Why is it necessary to offer your Salah on clean and purified place? We can offer anywhere after all we are worshiping Allah not the place. There's a huge difference my brother in worshiping idols and respecting a masjid. We are even told to respect the prayer rug. It's because everything we use for ibadah of Allah becomes purified and respected itself. "When we know the status of something it's easier to honor it". Enough said.

Sir, respectfully I will decline until our secular countryman provides what he claims. I will post what you seek, so hold patience.

I reiterate: claiming that a mosque must always remain a mosque is a BS claim, not ordered by Allah, but by those who have devious motives.

The mosque in it was similar to the prayer areas in offices and malls
