Making ISI give explanations is a success of the western propaganda machine. Such allegations although do not implicate ISI, but surely defame them a tiny bit every time they are blamed. Allegations have their toll on reputation.

And this blaming prevents ISI from acting against terrorists behind masks. Anyone can create a free Youtube channel and earn a few thousand followers... but should this give them impunity against prime national institutions? Pakistan needs a strategy to counter such sting operations and “sarak-chap” becoming untouchables.

There's no due process in Pakistan that will bring these perpetrators to justice, they almost never have. So sure, give them the benefit of the doubt, and let the controversy whither. There are only two cases where they've ever been taken to task. That was the 2019 sentencing on 2007 PCO judges case and the other one was about the 1990 election rigging. Other than that, no serving general is brought before a court. Judges may be brought before them, but not the other way around. Not in Pakistan.

Instead of sweeping statements one will have more weight in their argument if actual names are shared.

There is no due process in Pakistan that would see an officer serving in the army brought before a court for violating press freedom, or ordering something shitty and illegal. Thus no proof of any wrong doing, no judgement in favour of accusers, only their stories, of which there are many. Only two years ago did we finally accept the obvious that a dictator's coup and subsequent actions were high treason by definition, even that battle hasn't ended yet.

The army keeps an eye on itself, no other institution is allowed to exert any influence there. No external accountability in practise. If any action is needed, they are tried as per army act or OSA in military courts as far as I'm aware.

The injuries correspond to multiple time duration. It is not possible for an ER doctor to neglect a blunt trauma on forearm when he can bandage his elbows. In the same visual field.

Neither the bruising timeline is different for elbows and forearm.

Anyways I know you can not defend the contradiction in pictures. The actual point is who were the culprits?

And please the so called moral highground applies equally to journalists political parties and institutions equally. I have noticed the selective application is only limited to institutions when the enlightened deem it fit to do justify their propaganda.
