Russia has a base in Tajikistan to keep an eye on Afghanistan.

We have to make Russia a formal part of CPEC to make this happen ,this way we won't have any problem in acquiring latest weaponry from them,we can ask them to give permission for this deal with China as these aircraft's are needed to protect CPEC projects.

Even thats only theoratical. And not proven. S400 system is designed to counter these modern threats F22 and F35 and is a system developed year after F22 and F35 were commissioned. Not the Other way around

S400 can't cope up with stealth fighters ... Stealth fighter does not means you can't see them the issue is when you can see them ... If S-400 at a distance of 50 kms which I doubt still very high then its useless considering that F22 and F35 can see S400 from much far away and can launch missiles from safe ranges ...

Stealth is nothing but making a big item look smaller, So you can see a fighter aircraft from 300 kms but if the same fighter aircraft appears to be a size of quadcopter or a tennis ball then detection range of such aircraft will be much lower ,,, it is like you can see elephant from much far away but you can't see an rat from much far away ,,, even if you can see a rat you can't target it from a gun unless it is close ...

Similarly stealth planes even having size of elephant appears to radar like a size of rat therefore they cannot be seen and targeted unless very close whereas they can see everyone else specially in passive mode

Yes India has the influence on Russia, on a big scale, and then why india crying to Russia to stop a sale of RD-93 to Pakistan in past, If india have not influence on Russia, and there are lots of joint venture b/w india/Russia, and as for Su-35/S-400 these are just a false rumors @SuvarnaTeja

we already has the substitute, dont worry. And Russia is India's boss, not contra.versa.

I would prefer a Sq of J-16D for naval Strikes, escorted by 1 sq of JF -17 block 3 .. there are many solutions for S400 problem but J-16 is not one of them .
